Last Minute Tips

What are some things that I should be doing to help prepare for my trip. Do I really need to reconfirm all my reservations!? Also, I have heard mixed revews about faxing requests for rooms should I do that?

I would call to confirm Tiffany Town Car....apparently Dana would have run into a problem had she not confirmed the day before. I can't think it would hurt to just call and confirm your PS's. I have also heard mixed things about faxing requests. Apparently they have already stopped allowing room request faxes at some resorts, and I hear the rest will be following suit. Maybe you could just call Disney and have the requests put on your room reservation?

Yeah, I just want to do everything to make this trip perfect since it will be a short trip. There will not be much time to make problems up.

I called and checked mine and found a few mistakes in the PS's. I would definately call and ask them to please read them off to you, so you can be sure what they have is what you wanted. Anyone can make an honest mistake...even WDW, so it can't hurt.

Takes breaks in the middle of the day. Even in January with no crowds, they were a God send. Even if it's only for an hour or so, it refreshes you. The down time I spent this trip made it the best one ever. We were on hand before park opening and took a break mid-day and were back out again for the evening...it really is nice to be able to breathe a bit and step back and enjoy what your resort has to offer.

If this is not for you, then just go Commando..lol Either way you are going to have a great trip. If I foget to tell you before you leave, have fun and take pictures and notes to share with us.:)

Just remember to enjoy the little things and slow down a bit so you can actually relax...it's worth it.

I would confirm the reservation. It doesn't hurt and you can avoid problems if an error was made on the reservations side.

I especially say this because I called yesterday to pay off my trip and found out the CM I spoke with on 1/15 (Bill) did NOT change the code on my reservation like I wanted it. The difference for me would've been $27 but that's not the point. Luckily I was able to book at the lower code but what if... I'm glad I found out now instead of starting my trip off to a bad start by having to argue at check-in. :devil

I would also reconfirm all my flights, transfers, and PS.

I would also make a print out of all of them, and make an extra copy with all my hotel and flight info, useful numbers, etc. Iīd put the copy in my suitcase just in case I lose the original.

Iīd make sure my suitcases are easily identifiable.... donīt you hate losing yours? Put the name of the hotel you are staying too, so it can be delivered there in case it happens, instead of being returned to your home leaving you with nothing to wear. :dazed

Make sure you bring plenty of film and batteries - they are expensive in WDW.

thatīs all I can think of now.
