Re: Buses and Value Resorts
DH thinks that PC has the best bus service of all the resorts .. its one of the main reasons he likes it so much.

Re: Buses and Value Resorts
Yeah, resorts that only have busses as transportation do get better bus service, than the Monorail Resorts, FW, and Port Orleans, which have other modes of transportation.

Re: Buses and Value Resorts
The wait for buses didn't seem to differ from the All stars in comparison to when I stayed at WL. However, I found the transportation to/from AKL, especially in the mornings, to be very fast (except when it was park closing). There were two times that I got impatient and that was due to me being tired and cranky and not wanting to wait for anything...lol I just took a cab when that happened.

Re: Buses and Value Resorts
Well, I have come to realize that it doesn't matter which hotel one stays, there are always "great" and "horror" stories. We have stayed at the AS resorts and the Beach Club. Unfortunately, when we decided to spend the extra money for the BC, the "magic" of WDW was missing in numerous ways. Since our Oct. 2003 visit, I have read numerous posts that the week we were there WDW in general was vastly unprepared for the crowds. In fact, the bus service was absolutely TERRIBLE and was one of the reasons that we will probably return to one of the All Stars for our next trip. The waits were much shorter at the AS instead of the BC.

Re: Buses and Value Resorts
Honestly, we waited *less* for the bus at All-Star Movies than we ever did at the Polynesian. The only thing unfortunate about the AS busses is that they fill up so incredibly fast! I agree absolutely, Matt.
There was one point where we were bushed, but we got so irritated waiting at Epcot and watching all the full busses to All-Star Movies leaving without us, we finally got on a bus to P.O. Riverside and relaxed in the River Roost for a while.
