I promised Gregory that I'd give props to Quicksilver, so here goes.

I am so glad I used Quicksilver! They're still small enough to provide extra personal service, but large enough to handle larger groups (Gregory told me that they have an Escalade for groups up to 7(? I think).

Not only was the car ready and waiting as soon as we came down the escalator in the baggage area, on the day that we left, the car pulled up at the same moment we were getting our bags at the door to All-Star Sports. DW, DD and DS were able to watch the first 25 minutes of Finding Nemo on the DVD player in the back seat. From the front, all I could hear was the sound, but it sounded like we were in a movie theatre!

I just switched my transportation to Quicksilver based on your review. I have used a different Limo service for the past 3 years, but I figured I'd try something new.

We used them for our cruise in March, and they were great. They were where they were supposed to be when they said they would, and it worked great. I also like it that you can get the owner on the phone when you need to talk to someone. Keep it up Gregory, doing a great job!

Yep, I agree Mickey. I just got off the phone with Greg. Very happy so far. Personal review to follow in a few weeks.

Glad to hear the positive reviews on Quicksilver. I am booking them for my January trip as soon as I get my flights. I PMed them asking a question about a one-way fare for my DBF and his son when they join us, and received a very pleasant and speedy reply. So far, I am impressed with the attention they gave me. I look forward to hearing more of the same positive reviews from more fellow DCers!!!

We just returned last week and were very pleased with Quicksilver. I booked with them because of this website. Our driver, Marcus, was there as soon as we came down to baggage claim. He helped us with the bags and was very pleasant even though we may have taken 40 minutes instead of 30 minutes at the grocery stop! And our driver was there early and ready to get us off to the airport on our departure day. My four year old was excited to get to watch "Nemo" on the ride back! I should also let everyone know that they provided a car seat and booster seat at no extra charge--that's customer service to me!!!!

I, too, booked Quicksilver for my boss and his family of 9 people for July. They are accomidating them with a "luxury van". I had requested that they call me to confirm when everything was set up and Gregory called me within 10 minutes of booking online!!

Also, like Mouseketrips, it's nice being able to talk to the owner and get that extra special customer service!!

I've used them too, with a hearty thumbs up. They even put up with Very Bad Guest behavior on one night to Pleasure Island, from us, all with gracious service. :D

OK I know this isn't beat up on the other companies, but when we used Tiffany's, I just did not like the pre-pickup service. I called to cancel going down, and the lady on the phone was VERY rude, and they had messed up the return date! I like the driver we had, he was very knowlegable and funny. But, I will probably use Quicksilver next time, especially since they sponsor DC!!

We talked to Gregory about Tiffany and he was quick to note that they still have a high approval rating. But they've gotten so big so quickly that they might be a little big for their own good.

Right now, I'm so pleased with Quicksilver that I won't use anyone else. It'll be interesting to see how Gregory and his wife respond to what may be quick growth for them as well.
