has anyone been to the adventurere club?

We are leaving for the mouse the 14th of July and will be in the world the 15 thru the 22nd! This will be our third trip, but Im just now reading about the Adventurers Club and I dont know much about it. I was hoping for some feedback from those who have been. We are driving our own car-hows the parking situation? We are staying about 2 miles off property that provides shuttles so should we use those? If youve recently returned from orlando, hows the weather?? Thanks for the response in advance!!! Markypooh

Oh, the Adventurers' Club is so awesome. It's hard to explain what it's like other than cool. It's not a night club it's more of a totally emersive show that lasts the entire evening. Very entertaning (probably even more so if you're hammered) and very funny.

Lucky you - heading out so soon! The Adventurer's Club, as you may already know, is part of Pleasure Island. You can access PI during the day for shopping only and then at 7:00 it becomes a party island, for an additional charge.

The Adventurer's Club is just one of many places to go and have fun at PI. Might I suggest that you get to PI at 7:00 (you will park at Downtown Disney somewhere near Planet Hollywood restaurant, if possible) and go to the first showing of the improv comedy club. After that, head to the Adventurer's Club. It is a two-story club that offers adult-style comedy fun. You just sit down and hang out and the fun happens all around you - skits, shows, and the pledge to become a member - don't miss it! There are little side rooms that have shows all night long and they end up being different each time.

Then, you can dance the night away while waiting for the midnight firesworks show (which I have been currently informed still happens every night) or you can just hang out all night at the Ad Club!

If you haven't already figured it out, I love PI! Enjoy and let us know all about it when you get back! Wishing you "no more rain" for your vacation, too!:)

Thank you for your replies!! I have a soon to be 18 year old daughter and a 15 year old son. Is the adventurers club appropriate for them?

Yes, the humor is "adult" but not risque. By the way, children, I believe under 18, are not permitted to wonder PI on their own. We once took (at the time) my 3 and 6 year old stepdaughters and they had a great time. But normally I would recommend a nice night for parents kid-free. :)
