My trip in Feb. 04
Hello, I am new to the site and am really loving this place to immerse into Disney.
We stayed at the Contemporary with a MK view because the 1st time I went to WDW in '75, I always dreamed of staying there. It was amazing from check-in to check-out. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days and while it was longer than our stay the year before, it was not long enough. Loved Epcot, did as much as we could. The moving statue in WS was hilarious. Unfortunately we viewed Illuminations from France instead of Japan or Mexico and didn't have a good view of the globe. Animal Kingdom was fantastic. Donald's Restarauntsarus CB was excellent, as was Dinosaur, Kali, and the Safari. Tarzan was great but Festival of the Lion King was incredible. Did not get to see the parade. MGM was also great, finally got my TOT fix multiple times and took my almost 4 year old with us and she did a great job. The Cast member after the ride gave her a special certificate for her bravery and that was incredible. Loved RR want to ride it many more times (our cars speaker was not the best, but I know it will be better the next time). To top off our MGM visit we did the Fantasmic dinner/show at MaMa Melrose and the food was exceptional. The preferred entrance to Fantasmic was excellent and our seats were also excellent. Sitting up-close for the show made all the difference. The dinner/show was the best. MK as always was great; finally went on SM again twice (first time, sat in front with my video camera out to record the trip, very hard job but great video; the second time it seemed much brighter in SM?) We did as much as we could do (which was quite alot) and did like Mickey's Philharmagic, but had to see it a second time and sit in the middle. Got to see Share a Dream Come True and Spectral Magic which were both so great. This trip I dedicated 2 days to Universal but really wished I could have returned to WDW, so on our next trip in Feb 2005, we are staying 9 nights at POC. Can't wait Thanks Walt ![]()

Re: My trip in Feb. 04
Wow and thanks everyone, for my name, it is more based on Roy O Disney rather than Roy Orbison but somehow those two names meshed in my brain. Hope that Roy will keep WDW wonderful! We were at WDW the first week of Feb. and the crowds were good (not to many, not to few). There were no long waits and the fastpass systems all worked great. Our first trip in Feb. '03 was during Presidents week and the crowds were roughly equivalent to our '04 trip. We have had really good luck in Feb. The temps have always been perfect day and night and have only seen one half day of rain (that was on the last day of our first trip). talk soon

Re: My trip in Feb. 04
We were at WDW this past April for 11 nights, and believe me, it STILL isn't long enough!!
P.S. Roy doesn't have much WDW input anymore. He was ousted. (log onto www.savedisney.com for his side of the story)
