my trip pics Sept1-Sept5
Hi all,
Since I'm stuck in our room I'll be working on a nice long trip report but I thought I'd share some pictures with you now. These aren't in order but include our visits to the park as well as pictures of the storm at our resort. Nice photos, I'm glad some of your trip wasn't ruined by the storm. What is Disney doing for you as you wait out the storm?

Thanks! We feel pretty safe. We were able to buy enough snacks (not to mention our trip to Publix with Quicksilver), so we have plenty of food and drinks. Since our rooms open to the outside we haven't been allowed to leave since yesterday afternoon...the lobby stores and food spots are closed. I know some others staying in the deluxe resorts WL etc...have been able to venture out to their lobbies and have limited food available.
It's kind of strange...because of the coming storm the parks were so empty we were able to do everything we wanted and more and the weather was beautiful. They're playing plenty of different Disney movies (I don't know if they always do this). So we've seen Nemo, Ella Enchanted, and The Rookie so far today! I'm glad for the internet access too! The resort is doing a good job of keeping us informed. Hopefully this will be over soon. |

they played the movies when we were there too during Charley ..it is not normal and I think just an effort to provide everyone with something to watch.
Oh and by the way ..your pictures are great!!!

Wow, I am praying for your safety there. What a bummer it must be to feel like you are "missing out" on your WDW vacation. But at the same time, it's probably pretty exciting to be "trapped" at the most Magical Place on Earth, eh? Hehe. Thank you for sharing the pictures!!

Those are such great pictures!!! I cannot think of a better place to be "stuck" at during a hurricane than WDW!!!
