MickeyManic - Glad to hear you had a couple of great days! I hope we do as well with our timing at 'OHanas. I hope the weather is better when you go back in a couple weeks.

Bummer that your trip got cut short but it still sounds like you really enjoyed the days you did have together! Hope the time goes by quick and you are back in WDW again before you know it!

To be brutally honest, I am so very disappointed that our trip was cut short. On our first day down there, our waiter at Chevy's was asking us about our vacation plans and I told him that this trip would either be the smartest thing we ever did or the dumbest.

During our short first day and a half, I was beginning to think that it was the smartest because the parks were empty and the weather was great. However, looking back, and thinking about the $$ we spent, I'm just not so sure.

Don't take this the wrong way please, but we were just sooooo disappointed that the parks were closed on Saturday. It just came as such a surprise, since the storm was still not supposed to hit the coast until 2 am Sunday. Believe me, I understand that my enjoyment does not come before everyone's safety, but this was the first time hubby and I had ever taken a trip by ourselves, so I couldn't help being sad.

At any rate, I did find out that I would definitely rather take fewer long trips than more short ones. Did that make any sense?
