One highlight of those last 2 days was the taping of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire". We were lucky enough to be in the audience - front row - right behind Meredith! The episode will be shown on June 1. Being in an audience is hard work. We had so many instructions on how and when to clap, laugh, sigh, sit up straight, don't cross your arm, legs, etc. that I was exhausted when it was over. But it was a lot of fun.
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I am so jealous/excited for you .. I hope Jen got to do this too .... she was really wanting to .. and thanks for the date it will be shown because now we gotta look for you ..
my only disappointment with your TR is ..no pictures
other then that ..it sounds wonderful .. thank you thank you thank you

Since you were there for 2 weeks, do you have any suggestions? I have planned 10 days in the 4 major parks and then 5 days to either go to a waterpark, Disney Quest, resort hop, relax, etc. We have gone for 11 days before but never almost 3 weeks.
Lucky you! We were there last year for a total of 3 weeks and I wasn't bored a bit, but, you know, everyone is different. What I would suggest is plan your l0 days in the parks, and then don't worry about planning anything for the other five days. My personal feeling is that things become less fun the more you plan. You get into that "oh no, we're wasting valuable time if we don't have something scheduled", and that's just stressful. You don't have to be doing "Disney" every second of every day and after 10 days, you'll probably be happy to take a break. I'd honestly leave those days "free" and when they come up, do just exactly what you feel like doing at that time, whether it's sleeping, reading, going to brunch (not a character meal, just a nice, relaxing one) shopping off property, golf, taking a walk, visiting other resorts, whatever. Just relax and enjoy the moment. If he really seems bored one day, why not take a drive to the Space Center. My DH loved it. It bored me to death, but it was nice to see how much he enjoyed it. He still talks about it.

Re: My Unpressured Trip Report - WDW, 2005

llama, we were at Epcot the same day. I talked to a CM who said attendance that day was 20,000. The week before was 80,000! Good timing & great weather!

How sad about the FastPass incident. We were amazed when a family walked up to us at Epcot and gave us their TestTrack FP's (for use immediately). The had decided to go to another park.

It takes all kinds, I guess.

llama, I don't know how you managed to keep your mouth shut with that thief in the RnRC line. You're a classier woman than I am, because there's no way I'd have been able to not call out that doggy trash and embarrass her in front of everyone in the line. How DARE she behave in such a shameful way, especially at WDW. That sort of stuff just absolutely burns me.

No ~ and I could have I was there ~ same day as Llama, oviously. (The 14th?!?) MGM was empty, I mean NOBODY was there, and they were calling people on the main strip there to come in. We had a little arugement among our group about this, not something I want to relive. Thinking only happy thoughts about the trip.....

Llama, I looked all over for a familiar DC pin, wore mine everyday. Even ran into some other people from Canada.

Great TR, Llama. I too decided to skip HISTA ~ besides after Philharmagic, how can ya bare to watch anything else? Too bad we didn't bump into each other, we were there at the same time for 6 days.

I have mixed feelings about staying onsite vs. offsite. Our rental home was spectactular, 4 miles to disney and extreamly afforable, but I did feel a little bit of jealous on one of our MK nites when they annouces it was Extra Magic Night and we had to get out and resort guests were coming in for 3 more hours of fun! Also, I could have saved about 100 bucks in parking if I used WDW transportation.

Also, about staying 3 weeks ~ I would have loved to. My no more days at the parks than I did (Ok, maybe an extra day at MK and one at Epcot to really enjoy the WS) 10 days was perfect. I was ready to come home today. But, knowing I also have 4 more days off of work to recover from the trip has a lot to do with that. Id shoot myself in my foot if I had to work tomorrow, er hum, today. WHich reminds me...must...sleep....

Re: My Unpressured Trip Report - WDW, 2005

Great report, and a wonderful trip! I'm so glad they let those boys on the ride without the FP's. That was unbelieable. Did she have children with her, the thief, I mean? If she had, I would definately have said something to her, in front of her children. That is NOT how you teach your children.

And I've decided to change my PS from Rose & Crown to Le Cellier. I was wavering between the two, and really wanted Le Cellier, but booked Rose & Crown. Hey. Maybe I'll do both!!
