I'm home, and here's my report...

Ok, well not the whole TR, cause it going to take a while, just a little teaser for ya'll and a chance to get share a little of my lingering WDW excitement with you.

I'm going to start with just highlights first.

Here's the best parts of my trip:

Dinner at Ohana's
Riding the Monerail to MK the first day with my kids, pointing out everything to them as if I were just there the day before
Seeing the Castle light up at night
Mickey's Philharmagic
Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern and Minnie losing her pantiloons
Mickey Premium Bars
My Disney Girl Tea Party
Our Server at CRT
Hanging with Hook and Mr. Smee
6 hours at MK with just me and my two DDs just walking around, enjoying it
$3.99 all you can eat breakfast buffet at Ponderosa!
Building my Potatoe Head and finding the "old" boxes that are a bit bigger
Swiming in our private pool in JANUARY! (it's a first for me...)
Saying goodbye to Mickey outside MK on our last night there
Mission: Space
Finally getting a glimspe of Maleficent
Stu's surprise gifts throughout the trip
Our last morning at Downtown Disney and lunch at Earl of Sandwich
Coming in under budget

The low points:

Dinner at Sci-Fi BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT
the WEATHER for the last 6 days of the trip ~ Sunshine State????
Some members of my party....
having to cancel Chef Mickeys due to the weather and some members of my party
racing through the World Showcase
Stu losing Matty (6) at Disney Quest
Getting my foot crushed by a motorized chair, comforting my son after he got his foot crushed by a motorized chair, listeing to other members of my party swear up a storm after getting there foot crushed by a moterized chair, waiting for the motorized chair, keeping the kids off the motorized chair.....I'm sure you get the picture
Universal Studios YAWN! IOA was Ok....waste of prime WDW time...

Best place we ate: Ohana's
Best park: Magic Kingdom
Lowest Crowds: Animal Kingdom
Best off site meal value: Ponderosa for both breakfast and Dinner
Best weather day: Tues, Jan 11 at MK 80 something degrees, breezy no humidity
Best WDW meal value: Earl of Sandwich ties with Liberty Tree Tavern
Best evening show: Wishes
Best place to see characters: MK
Best Ride/Attraction: Philharmagic and Mission: Space
Most expensive dinner Ohana's $287!!
Biggest headache: Checking in
Funniest moment of the trip: Pops (81) on Dinosaur. He actually gave the T-Rex at the end of the ride the finger!!??!!??
Worst Sever Award: Brian, Sci Fi Dine In Theater
Favorite Snack: Mickey Premium Bars
Biggest Regret: ran out of time for the World Showcase
Trip total: $7200.00, soup to nuts.

Great start to a trip report. I like the list of high and low points, just like Cliff notes (do they still make those?) for disney. When you start the details, could you include how many people and how long the trip was? And since you may be snowed in this weekend, it's the perfect time for writing.

Around Phila we had an inch of snow and the grocery stores were mobbed, so I plan to stay home, watch the snow and read trip reports.

Great start, Jen. I know what you're saying w/those motorized chairs. I've been nearly killed by those AND by strollers at least 5 times this week. And I don't blame Pops for giving TRex the finger. If I'd been looking at him and not the inside of Pete's shoulder when he jumped out at me, I'd probably have done the same thing. Can't wait to hear more.
