Karliebug's trip-Days 1 and 2
Hi everyone! Just got back from a wonderful trip to WDW. Our first day we flew into Orlando without a hitch and waited for our van to pick us up from Happy Limo. Were we ever surprized when a Hummer Limo picked us up instead! They upgraded us for free!! You should have seen everyone look at us when we pulled up at Publix for our grocery stop! We felt like movie stars. We checked into POR and after some disagreement over the price (they wanted to charge me $138 over) . We checked in and the kids went for a swim even thought it was probably less than 70 degrees out. After that we went to MK and went on a few rides but it was really crowded and lines were long. We had dinner at Pecos Bills. My kids just love the cheese on the topping bar. The next day was Karlie's 6th birthday. She and I went to the Perfectly Princess Tea Party and had a great time, eventhough she started to not feel so well. Dh and my other DD's went to Chef Mickey's for a great breakfast buffet of their own. Then we went back to the room and changed and went to MGM which wasn't crowded at all. We saw all the shows and had dinner at Hollywood and Vine where I ran into DC's own capngoodguy! Then we saw the fantasmic show but we were really getting cold, the temperature was dropping and the spray from fantasmic got us all wet.It was a fun day for Karlie's birthday! I was wearing my DC pin and had just sit down at our table. Karliebug's group was just a few feet away and her DH spotted my pin and caught my attention.
