On Monday, Karlie was still sick. Dh and DD headed over to Epcot while I tried to reach our pediatrician. I finally convinced him to call in an antibiotic to Turner Drugs. They delivered the prescription right to the front desk of POR for us, I highly recommend them. After awhile she felt better so we met the family at Epcot and went on test track, mission space and universe of energy. I love that ride and besides, Ellen likes my hair. Anyway, we went to the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway and I was a little dissappointed. The food was just okay. Scrambled eggs, potatoes,bacon, sausage links and biscuts. The service was just okay. The princesses didn't seem all that engaging. I much prefer CRT. They did give DD a birthday cookie, as we were ready to leave and a card which was signed by all the wait staff. I thought it was strange that it wasn't signed by the princesses. Anyhoo, I probably won't do this breakfast again. That evening, Karlie's fever returned so Dh and DD's went to DTD to shop and the little on and I stayed in. On Tuesday we went to AK in the morning and saw more animals on the safari than I have ever seen before. We saw the Tarzan show and the festival of the lion king show and went on all the rides except the rapids-it was too cold to get wet!!Then we went back to resort to change for dinner at the Hoop-de-doo. We had front row seats and Karlie was chosen to ring the dinner bell out front and yell "come and get it!". The show was great fun, as always. A really nice surprise was that as we were on the boat back to the MK, we had a perfect view of the wishes fireworks! They were beautiful! Our timing was perfect!
On Wed. we went to MGM and did the rock and rollercoaster about 3 times, the muppet movie, playhouse disney, mermaid, backlot tour and had lunch at backlot express. That evening was extra hours at MK, so we had dinner at Cosmic rays and listened to that cheesy lounge singer and was able to just walk on most rides with no lines. We did our favorites-splash mt., thunder mt. and pirates several times. Then we went back to the hotel for a snack before turning in. Even though the weather was colder than we would have liked, there was no rain and no lines to wait in. Karlie was feeling much better an we were having a great time. More to come.....

Sorry to hear that your DD got sick while down there, but so glad that Turner's took such excellent care of you and delivered that script. That day down there was frigid for Florida. Me and my DD actually had coats on that night. Can't wait to hear the rest of the report!

What a wonderful surprise to see Wishes on the boat ride! Some of the most magical moments can't be planned!

Sorry too to hear that your little one wasn't feeling good ~ I glad she got better.

I had forgotten all about Hoopdedoo ~ was there once as a child, but I don't remember liking it very much ~ maybe will give it another try ~ glad you enjoyed it!

I'm sooo glad you had fun at Hoop de doo!! I have only been twice (Once as a kid and again about 19 years ago!) But it's still one of my favorite Disney memories!! We've never been able to get the kids there - always booked!!!

You can book the show up to 2 years in advance, but for this trip I booked just 3 weeks prior and we had front row seats. It is a must do for us every trip.

Sounds like a great trip despite your little one getting sick!
that's nice your DD got to ring the bell.
Just wondering if you have done the Luau? And wonder which you like better?
Iam contemplating doing the Hoop dee do, I want to book 1 of the 2.

We have done the luau, but the hoop de doo is more fun, in my opinion and we all like the food a lot better. If it was just adults ,maybe you would prefer the luau but my kids love the fried chicken ,ribs, homemade bread and shortcake at the HDD, and the show is so much fun!
