The rest of my trip-karliebug
Okay, so on friday we went to MK for early morning hour and had a great time, no lines and got to go on everything we wanted. The weather was rainy and cool, so we had to break out those ponchos. We had lunch at the CP, which was good. DD got a birthday cupcake and got to parade around the restaurant with the characters. After lunch we went to DTD where my 2 youngest had fun buying the potato heads and stuffing all they could into the boxes. Kate got a new guest of honor badge with tinkerbell on it at the christmas shop. They now hve different kinds with the characters on them as well as the regular red ones. DH got a stich one. We ate dinner ate Earl of sandwich which the adults loved but the kids weren't impressed with. (they didn't have american cheese, and the kids didn't care for the thick flat bread).
The boat ride to DTD from POR was really nice. On the way you can see the treehouses that you used to be able to stay in at the disney institute for $350/nite. it is a shame that they are all standing there empty. what a waste. I hope they are going to do something with that space soon. On Saturday,which was our last full day we decided to let the kids pick what they wanted to do. DH went to early morning at AK by himself. The girls and I went to MGM and did Rockin roller twice, the millionarie show Then we took the boat to Epcot, met up with DH there and toured a few of the countries, saw the American adventure show, had lunch there at the liberty inn. Then it was back to the resort for a swim in the pool and packing. Dh and the 2 older kids went to see Bob in the POR lounge, who puts on a very funny show. I got the little one to sleep early. We had a 6:30 pickup on Sunday morning by Happy Limo. They were waiting for us right on time, we had a really nice ford excursion SUV with leather seats and the driver was really nice and friendly. Our trip back to Philly was great, plane left on time and when we returned to Philly we went back to the hotel where our truck was parked and came home. I would say that this was one of our best trips ever. |

Your trip sounded wonderful. I am glad that your DD got to feeling better pretty quickly and everyone was able to have a great time.
