Animal Kingdom

Day 3
I know it’s late but here goes!
We head out to Animal Kingdom, first thing we do it the Safari ride. My DS totally loved this he is really into animals. We did this ride neither of the kids could hardly sit down they loved all the animals a whole roll of film taken on this. We then went to it’s tough to be a bug. My kids loved this also, especially the butterflies in 3-D. We then went to get a better look at the Tree of Life. Then of to ride, they were O.K, but nothing special except for the Dinosaur ride now it was cool. We then went to get some autographs, and then to the lot were you can dust of bones kids did not really like this one did not stay very long, eating time now just a quick Mc burger and fries. After eating we went to the Kali rapid River ride, once everyone got off we were totally soaked. We looked around at animald on trails after the river then headed back to resort to rest a few minutes, then go to Downtown Disney for SHOPPING yeah spend lots of money.. It was raing pretty bad by this time (of course we have to buy those famous yellow ponchos) then we go to eat at Planet Hollywood,we enjoyed this food it was also funny DS ordered burger and it piled so high his eyes were as big as silver dollars it was a hoot. We then headed back to resort to head to bed to get ready for MGM!TOWER OF TERROR TIME!!YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Till later hope you enjoy reading

Sounds like you had a great day in Animal Kingdom. It's come a long way in just a few years. I really enjoyed myself when we went in June. The times before that we only spent 2 hours in the park, but this time, we spent nearly the whole day.

How old are your kids? I've seen posts of curious parents wondering if "It's tough to be a bug" is pre-school friendly.

Disney is great...rain or shine. I was glad to read your trip report.

Looks like you should have bought the ponchos earlier!!!! Glad you had a great time. The first time we went to AK was right after it opened & we weren't real thrilled with it. But we love it now.

Thanks for the report. I wish DD hadn't have liked the boneyard, but she loved it so I had to sit there with her forever while her daddy went to Kali Rapids. That was the one thing she couldn't wait to do, and once she got in there I couldn't get her out.
