Miss Me? Part Two
Ok I know I briefed you all on our interesting Saturday. Poor DD was having some serious problems with some food she consumed on Sat. morning for breakfast. Needless to say, it was a short day. We go to go on Primevil Whirl. I am sorry but, I was totally disappointed with this whole Dino carnival thing. Disney could have done much better. We went on Dinosaur and had the pooh scared out of us...more her than me,,,I was laughing at this man behind me who was screaming like an eight year old little girl with a high pitched scream...lol too fiunny. We then got to do KS and I really like this ride. We went right in the morning and had only a ten min. wait. It was extremly hot outside and the animals were not all that active. It was still a really great ride. It went down hill from there and we spent hte rest of the day and night in the hotel room. I ate room service and almost had a heart attack when I saw the price. ($50 for dinner for just me.....oh well it is vacation after all)
We got up on Sunday morning early and DD was feeling much better and was starving. We went to the Whispering Cannon for breakfast and Yes of course I asked for the Ketchup and went to the ladies room so DD could get the surprise. Well she got me better. I had asked for the largest size Diet coke available and came back to a huge ice-bucket sized soda with an extra large straw. I drank straight out of it and pretended it was the greatest thing in the world. Not that easy to shock me. This was by far the best breakfast we had in all of WDW. After breakfast we went to the MK to get in anything and everything we could do or missed from our first day. We got it all in and even went to Aunt Polly's to grab a soda and check our the caves. On our way over there, I had made a comment to my DD that I would give her $1 to push in the raft driver..(i was joking) Not even 20 senconds later a really cute gator swam by...lol He was a babe and was probally only about 3ft long. The cast Memeber that we were joking about pushing in told me that they have traps on either side of that water because it connects to swamp land. He said that some manage to slip in..mostly babies and a couple of slick ones. After hanging at Mk till around 3:00 or so, DD wanted to swim and change clothes. We went back to Whispering Cannon for dinner and had a wonderful meal. I reccomend this place to everyone and will be writing a review on our review central later on praising them. DD then wanted to go to Downtown Disney to do some shopping. We enjoyed the Xmas store and the new toy store and I found some great shirts (2 for $20) in the Rainforest Cafe. We went back to the hotel and I put her in the Cub's den for and hour so I could have some peace and pack up the bulk of our stuff. I cannot say enough positive things about this child care center. I paid $10 for the hour and she got to play video games, draw, and have some ice-cream. The girls who were woking at the club were excellent. Monday..Monday our very last day. We got up a little later...7:30 or so and dressed and got all our our gear together, called bell services and stored our luggage. You would think that we would go to Epcot since we havent been there yet, but heck no we were going back to MGM for RNR. We managed to get this ride in another 5 times. We had a PS a Hollywood and Vine again giving it a second chance. We went at 11am for an early lunch because neither of us wanted breakfast. I had a great time. There was hardly anyone there. The characters were hanging with us and soon enough were bored and wrestling and trying to eat DD's ice-cream. I have some great photos. After we had enough of the RNR, we went back to the hotel and did the pool and had dinner at the fast food place in our hotel. At 6pm a different Tiffany driver picked us up and back we went. Our flight actually arrived 15min early and that was a nice surpirse. One thing I forgot to mention was the jumping fish. On the dock at WL where you get the boats to go to MK and FW there are fish that jump out of the water to get fed. They have the quarter duck feed that I suppose is inteded for the ducks and we spent many quarters watching the fish jump up and snatch the food. The first time I saw it, I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face. This was somehting we did each and every day at one point or another just for the laugh of it. If you plan on staying there, or are just having dinner there, definately go out and check out the jumping fish. If you have young children they will be thrilled with it. This trip was great. Not in the traditional commano Do Disney sense, but great all the same. We ended up missing all of the parades and fireworks, but had a great time with RNR and all the other things we encountered. I let my daughter guide the trip and found this to be the most relaxing way to do Disney. It will all still be there and I'll be back so I really didn't miss anything, just postponed it till a later date. Thanks for reading all.

What a wonderful trip! I'm sorry that I can't remember some of the details of your planning....
was it only you and your daughter? how old is she? It sounds like you two really had a blast. Did you stay at the WL? I love that hotel!

Trish,
It was just my 8 year old daughter and me. Yes, it was a wonderful trip. I did stay at the WL and it was wonderful. I got that as an upgrade when CBR closed and I am so glad for chance I got to stay there. For my next trip, I think I may try and go for that hotel again. I will just have to start saving my pennies sooner.:D It is worth every cent. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the report Dana! Glad it ended better than it began. We will have to be sure to feed the fish when we go to the Whispering Canyon for dinner. The boys will love it!
