Mmouse67l and Thumper's trip report pt. 2
OK here is the next part of our trip report.
I forgot to mention this before but I just wanted to say how great Tiffany Towncars was. The driver was waiting for us right at baggage claim and had a little stuffed Mickey doll for my son. We did the store stop for milk and juice. (we already packed a bunch of cereal, pop tarts, etc) I wish I could remember his name... he had a cute picture of his baby with a big toy smiley face on his/her mouth. Maybe somebody else remembers? Anyway he was great. On to day 3 Animal Kingdom. It was OK. I really liked the Dinosaur ride and we bought the picture. Primeval whirl made us sick just looking at it. The kids liked Triceratop Spin, the Affection Section and the Boneyard though. The Safari was OK, the animals were not very active. Kali river rapids were a little bit of a disappointment, just thought there should be more to it. We did not make it to the shows or It's Tough to be a Bug so I will hold my final opinion until next time. Ate at Flame Tree BBQ which was good. After AK closed we headed out for MK to see SpectroMagic and to meet Dana. Most people probably know about Dana's daughter being sick and not being able to meet her for the parade, but we had a good time. Got a good spot right in front of the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon. Day 4 MGM studios. Great day! Did the Great Movie ride, Muppet Vision 3D, Indiana Jones, Star Tours, (mmouse67l has too weak a stomach for that one ditto with RnRCoaster) TOT, RnRCoaster, Playhouse Disney (kids LOVED it), and the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area. (Kids loved that too although I did have to rescue my son from the rope climb area) Watched the Stars and Motor Cars parade, and ate at the 50's Prime Time cafe. Our waiter was great. He made the guy sitting next to us put his nose in the corner for not eating his veggies, guess what I ate first:laugh . Ended the night with Fantasmic which was awesome of course. Well one more report to go including my son's b-day at MK.
