Re: BDavis932's WDW Trip Report

Before this trip last week, we always did the finger scan when we activated our AP's. But this time when we activated, we just showed ID and she handed the tickets to us. She said the first time we use our ticket in a park it would "remember" our finger scan from that point on.

Everything she did to activate our passes was done on a computer. Maybe they will allow the conceige desk at all the resorts to do this in the future. That would be so nice!

Re: BDavis932's WDW Trip Report

Several of y'all have asked about changing rooms and if it is easy or worthwhile, etc.
Disney does make it easy by moving your bags for you, but would I do it again?

NOPE! We moved three times on this trip from four nights at Pop Century to four nights at Saratoga Springs and then one night at PoR. I wouldn't do it again because I never really got to unpack and never really felt like I was organized. By the time I figured out where everything was, it was time to pack it up and move it again. Maybe if it was just the two of us and if we didn't have 15+ bags (seriously!) then maybe we would consider it. But with a family and all that stuff, it was a bit complicated.

Great report!

We thought exactly the same thing about activating the APs... the guy at AK just did alot of tapping on a computer. Since they've split out the functions at the resort front desks, it seems like they could/should be able to do it there.

I'm interested in Saratoga Springs too... It looked HUGE when we drove past it.

SSR is huge! And they are building more units as I type. They are so gorgeous!

We were in one of the buildings near the pool (room 3732), near the first bus stop and it had a water view!!! It was great for us!
