my trip to WDW

OK lets get started. We all left on Sat 26 of October and drove all the way without sleeping, what a drive. We got to our hotel at around 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. We stayed at my mother-in-law's time share unit. It slept 10 people and my dd had her own little apartment (the lockout unit) it was beautiful. Also only 2 miles from Disney. Anyway we checked in and just relaxed that day. On Monday we went to Epcot and it wasn't even crowded!!!!! We did mostly everything and test track was great. But the kids were getting bored and tired, missed illuminations and the parade. On Tuesday we went to the MK no crowds walked right on to everything and did some of the rides twice. My dd saw the band NO SECRETS and enjoyed that. The kids loved MK better than Epcot. On the 30th we went to Blizzard Beach, just me and the kids, husband stayed back at the resort for a little down time. He isn't used to walking a lot like me because I deliver mail and walk all day. So anyway we enjoyed BB had a little rain that day but only lasted about half an hour. That night went to chef mickey's that was great and the food was too. Kids really had fun at that one. On Thursday went over to the AK and everybody liked it. Ok here is the bad part that night, we went to the Mickey's not so scary halloween party and it was so crowded that you couldn't even move. The kids were crying because they didn't get a lot of candy, missed the parade, and the free picture because no body wanted to wait in line. We were there for about two hours and my son lost his cowboy hat and started crying, what a night. Nov 1 went to Islands of Adventure liked that and went to cape may for dinner and Nov 2 Universal studios and went to Ohana's (kids did not like the food only the steak) On Nov 3 went shopping and checked into comfort suites for 4 nights. Went back to Islands of adventure and on Nov 4 went to Universal Studios again on the 5th. On nov 6 went to mgm loved RNR and ToT kept riding them. Went to the sci fi drive Inn for lunch and that was good. Saw the parade and liked that. On Nov 7 we checed into the all star sports resort and went to MGM again and then to the MK. Then we took a boat over to the campground for Mickey's backyard B-que that was ok a lot of people and it was kind of chilly that night. The food was OK. Don't think we will be doing that one again. On the 8th we hung out by the pool til around 2:00 p.m. then we started on our way home. We stopped in NC for the night because we were so tired. Arrived home on sunday. Overall we had a great trip!!!!! Can't wait to do it again.

Great report Jess, glad your family had such a good time. I know what you mean about the Halloween party, we went on the 11th of Oct. and I thought it was pretty crowded. I can just imagine the crowds you had on Halloween night.

It's good to hear you had such a nice trip! Although I have not done the Not So Scary, I would think I would avoid it on Halloween night - especially after your experience.

Thanks for sharing! :)
