Nathan was a really good sport, he didn't ask to go there but my DMIL and I wanted to eat there. He actually thought they were sweet and liked that he had 5 autographs in his book right off the bat.

my dd's friend who is 7, went to WDW 2wks ago and hated it and I know he wouldnt be caught dead taking a pic with a princess! His younger sister is 2 1/2 and she was scared of everything... oh well....

My DS is a very much a go with the flow kind of guy and is a really good sport about everything. He is a young 7 year old and I like it that way, he's my baby and I am not in a hurry for him to grow up.

Dang. A rope drop from the Castle!? Waking Tink!? Why would you risk ruining anymore. I would have gone home after that . . . Nah I'm lying . . . I'd of done more too. You did do more didn't you?
So one crowd is roped off to the end of Main St and your family was in the/under the castle roped in? So had you skipped waking Tink you could have had your pick of what to ride first and "walk on"!? MY GOSH I'm BOILING OVER WITH GIDDY QUESTIONS!

Yes, we were roped off in the castle waiting for the mass of people to get close to the castle. We could have been first in line for any ride in Fantasyland. I think that's what the other familes did, they all looked like they had a plan in mind while we were waiting. I was just worried it was the same plan I had.

Don't worry, I thought that day was about as perfect as it could get and it was only 9:00 and the park had just opened.

We went straight for Dumbo since we were close and that line builds so fast and moves so slow. After Dumbo Nathan said he wanted to go to Tomorrowland and do Buzz so we were off for Fastpasses. On our way we decided to do Indy Speedway before the line got any longer. While the guys did that my DMIL and I looked around in Mickey’s Startraders. When we were walking out the talking trashcan was out. Nathan loved him and they had a nice conversation, I wish I had a video camera with me, it was so funny. They talked about several things but most of the conversation was about Nathan’s teeth or the lack of teeth. It was double cool because the trashcan read Nathan’s name tag and called him by name. After a trip around Tomorrowland on the WEDWay it was time for our Fastpasses for Buzz. While on our way to the restroom we discovered the talking trashcan was out again and Nathan was sooo excided that he remembered him—it was fun. We went back over and did Buzz again, this time I got my all time high score of 132,XXX points. It was a hollow victory because the ride stopped for about a minute and I sat and scored points on a 100 point target the whole time.

We needed a little break and Nathan was hungry so we walked over to Frontierland and got Nathan some fries at the McDonald’s cart. We slowly headed down Main Street doing a little shopping along the way to the barber shop to get Nathan’s hair cut. We had a new barber but he did a nice job, he just didn’t say too much. After the haircut we shopped our way back up Main Street and headed to Pirates of the Caribbean. Big Thunder was down so I thought PoC would be packed-wrong, it was a walk on.

How can you ID the talking trash can!? I see Nathan with a Mickey is it the Pal Mickey 2.0? I can wait for details on that but I'm thinking of getting me one next year. Nothing says freak like a 30yr old carrying a Mickey Doll.

The talking trashcan is usually right outside Mickey's Startraders and the bathroom area. The trashcan that talks has a green flap and the others don't and there will usually be a crowd gathered around enjoying him. Nathan loved him and wanted to go look for him the rest of the trip.
