I'm back! I want to turn the van around and go back to Florida. Too cold and snowy here in Indiana. What a great trip even with a few troubles here and there. Crowds were low and the weather was great. Only had rain monday afternoon thru tuesday morning. I try to post some pictures here and there if I can figure out how to get them in here. Cast includes: me(28), Fiance(31)-John, DS(9),DS(8), FD(Fiance's Daughter)(13), FS(Fiance's Son)(11)
We left on Thanksgiving day driving straight through. Got to St. Augustine at 7 am on Friday. Had fun walking the beach and around the fort. Really neat place. Drove down the shore all the way to Daytona Beach. Got to Orlando about 4pm. Checked in at Quality Suites Main Gate. This was a nice place to recover from the drive. They have a nice pool and a great hot tub!
Saturday Nov. 26- Slept in then went to DTD. Pin shopping and Rainforest Cafe! Went back to Quality Suites for swimming. Kids were obsessed with pool. Early bedtime gotta wake up for check-in at CBR at 6am.

Sunday, Nov. 27 - Checked out of Quality Suites and ate breakfast. Drove to Carribean Beach Resort to check-in. They had the reservations messed up. We were to have guaranteed connecting and smoking. We got none. After some looking in the computer they finally found connecting rooms for us in Jamaica Bldg. 45 but is non-smoking. We took it DF will have to deal with smoking outside. No big deal. We were close to the bridge anyway. This resort is so much bigger than POR. I was surprised. It was really pretty but I kept getting turned around and lost my way a lot. The buildings are kind of maze like. The rooms weren't ready so we had to call later to find out the room numbers. We drove over and parked in the Jamaica Lot and walked to the bus stop. We were on our way to the Magic Kingdom!

We got in the gates at MK and the kids spotted Chip and Dale! We got autographs and pictures with them. Then we spotted Wendy too! Walking down Main Street seeing all the decorations was the best for me. I've only seen them on TV during the Christmas Parade. We had to turn right and see Stitch Escape. DS(9) and DS(8) have been talking about this for months! It was really cool and they loved it. We went over to COP after and then to Buzz. 10 min. waits only for most everything we rode today. Rode the Indy Cars. Kids loved these. Dad loved the chance to smoke and watch the kids drive! We ate at Cosmic Ray's for lunch our first use of the dining plan. I had the ribs and they were great. DS(9) had the greatest time watch and listening to Sonny Eclipse. We were celebrating each childs b-day 1 day at the park during the trip. DS(9) whose b-day is Dec. 10 was first. He got an extra cake with his lunch! Lots of B-day wishes all over the park too. After lunch we went to Goofy's Barnstormer and saw Mickey and Minnie's houses. Hopped on the train and went to Frontierland. Rode Splash only 20 min. wait and then Big Thunder with same wait. Went to POC walked on. Great as all ways! Visited the Tiki Birds and walked through the Tree House. Walked on the Jungle Cruise and birthday boy got to drive the boat!! Then I got spit on again by a camel at Aladdin's Carpets. Went over to Haunted Mansion for a 10 min. wait. Had to see Philharmagic before we left for dinner at Chef Mickey's. Had a blast at dinner getting all the character's autographs and pictures. DS(9) got a birthday cupcake and placemat. The Keylime Tarts were the best in my opinion. It was then I realized I forgot my cell phone in the van at the resort! I decided not to worry over it and just call when we got back to the van. After dinner we took the bus over to MGM to see Fantasmic. The weather was calling for rain the next day and I wanted to make sure we got to see the show. It was also Extra Magic Hours night here and they had 2 show times for Fantasmic. It was great and enjoyed the warm weather too! After Fantasmic we headed back to CBR. I was starting to get a funny feeling that something wasn't gonna go right. Just not sure what. We got back and I called the number on the card to get our room numbers and the lady couldn't find our reservations! Three times she checked and nothing both my name and DF's too since we had 2 rooms. I was starting to get upset so she connected me with someone else and they looked and finally found the room numbers. Time to unload the van and take everything to rooms 4513 and 4514. Then off to sleep for MGM the next day.

Sorry about the wait. I had internet troubles last night and couldn't get back on here to continue.
I forgot to mention that fiance and his kids were on their first trip to Disney too!

Monday, Nov. 28th - Had a hard time getting everyone moving this morning. I forgot the ponchos at the room. Got to MGM about 10am. Headed straight for Rockin' Rollercoaster since DS(9) and I missed this on our last trip. We did the Rider Switch here because DS(8) can't ride this one. I waited with him while the rest went to wait in the 20 min. line which was only like 10. The lines today were the shortest during regular park hours that we saw all week. The longest line was a Star Tours for 20 min.! Rockin' Roller Coaster was great! Sat in the front seat and man what a rush when you take off down the track! The kids got to ride twice. We then walked on TOT. I couldn't believe there was no line here. The youngest got a Mickey Bar so he was happy while we rode without the need for Rider Switch. We then walked over for a bathroom break. The kids all week had to visit the restroom everytime we saw 1 due to the fact they had to see if Stitch was hiding in there. The day before at the MK at Cosmic Ray's they went to the bathroom and heard Stitch in the ceiling saying "Sshh Don't tell. Stitch Hiding. Are you hiding too?" The came out and went nuts!
After the bathroom break we walked around looking a everything. Took our pictures in front of the Narnia display close to the Millionaire attraction. We checked the times for LMA show. Went to see Muppets 3D. Then went for lunch at ABC Commissary. The food was okay but my 2 boys were tired of chicken already. It seemed like that was all there was on the children's menu for counter service. My youngest is an adventurous eater and likes most everything so he was very put out about this. I shared some of my chicken curry with him so he was okay. After lunch we went for LMA. Very cool show. Everyone loved the explosions and chase stunts. The seating for this place is huge! It started to rain during the show and I thought they might cancel 1/2 way through but the rain actually help them out. The pavement had to be wet for the next stunt any way. At the end of the show we waited around awhile to see if the rain would stop. It didn't but it did slow down to a drizzle. We headed for the backlot tour. I have never seen this before and it was pretty neat. Loved the show at the begining with the people pulled from the line. After the backlot tour we went and rode Star Tours. The parade was about to start but the FD(13) wanted to see the Little Mermaid another show I had never seen. WOW it was more than I expected! It was really neat and everyone enjoyed it. After this we had to get to 50's Primetime for dinner. We had a small wait and then we were seated with Uncle Tim scolding us for not coming to see him in 3 years! We loved this place. Everyone was laughing so much! My DS(9) was put in the corner and FS(11) had to eat his Veggies to airplane noises. He was also the b-day boy today. Uncle Tim brought him a special cupcake with an electric Ice cube. We all had the best time. When we left 50's Primetime we walked over to the Osborne Lights Fest. and it was amazing. We walked all through the streets and as we turned for our 2nd trip around it started to pour. We ducked under the cover as best we could and waited. Then the street went black and the announcer came on to tell us the the Show was cancled due to the rain. We ran from shelter to shelter all the way to the big hat. Stopped and did a little pin shopping. By the time we were done the rain had slowed to a mist and throught the spotlights it looked like it was snowing. It was kind of cool. We walked back to the bus stop and the rain stopped. I was really glad we had seen Fantasmic the day before because I heard the lady behind me comment that she never knew Fantasmic was a water ride! I asked her if they got to see it and she told me they saw the 1st part and then they had to cancel the rest. It was lightning a bit. We got to see Illuminations while waiting for the CBR bus. So that was neat. Next stop to Jamaica to dry off and get some sleep!

We love Jamacia!! sorry about the stress mess with the room mix up ..but so far this sounds like a wonderful trip :)
