So here's how it ALL started.......

Friday December 9th 5:30 PM We told our kids we were going to the mountains to see my sister, so we told them they had to open one of their gifts early because they would need it for the weekend!!

So they opened the box and first they found little disney snowglobes... then they open the next box and their tickets were in envelopes with their names on it! They were a little confused but my oldest got it and then we said "WE LEAVE TOMORROW!" Emily cried she was so excited!!

Meanwhile, at Disneymom's house they were telling their kids too! They did not believe her until they saw the luggage packed!
Next, we met for dinner and they found out that we were going together!! They were so excited!! Finally one of the secrets is out!! But MANY MORE TO COME! Disneymom's kids and ours did not know that their Grandma, Dad and two brothers were meeting us on Wednesday!! Oh it was so hard to keep all this too!! None of the kids knew about the cruise either so as I said many more surprises to come!!

DAY 1 SATURDAY December 10th 3:30 AM
Off to the airport for a 6 AM flight! No problem getting up at all everyone is so excited! We got about 3 miles from home and relized we had forgotten Emily's pin lanyard so back home quick to pick it up. Dropped the car off at the outside lot took the shuttle to the airport and met up with Disneymom's family!
We checked our bags knowing the next time we would be seeing them is at POR!! This made my DH nervous but I knew it would be fine!

We had a VERY small plane but it was a great flight! We had to sit on the tarmack at MCO for a half an hour but then finally before we knew it we were in the ME line in Orlando!! ME was very smooth and the bus was very comfy and relaxing! From the time we got off the plane to the resort was about 90 minutes!! Maybe a little less!!

Now was the rush because we had Hoop dee doo tickets!! The check in line was awful!! Very very long!! When we finally did check in we did not get the bldg we requested but we got 16 which was not bad either.
Then we got our HDDR tickets, met our grocery delivery guy and off to Fort Wilderness! Whew!! We made it to Fort Wilderness with about 10 minutes to spare.

Now we can finally sit relax and enjoy!! We had the table right by the stage and we had a blast!!! Hoop Dee doo is so fun and the kids just laughed their heads off!! The food was even better this year than last and I think we ate 100 pieces of corn No joke!! People kept coming by and commenting on how much corn on the cob we had eaten. It was yummy!!!

When the show was over we headed back on the boat to MK. Right about the time we were about to dock at MK I realized that I had left my camcorder bag with my camcorder and my daughters digital camera in it at HDDR! So Polly took our kids and headed back to POR and DH and I went back to FW to hopefully find the camcorder bag!

The ride back was nice, it was a very warm night and the boat was not full so it was very relaxing. And yes we found it. Thankgoodness.

Once we got back to the room we were faced with yet another challenge. My DD is very attached to a blanket and it had also been lost. We retraced our steps from earlier but no blanket, I was very worried because she has a hard time sleeping without it. But Her brother said he would share his and that was it she was fine the whole trip. We never did find hers we have extras of the same kind at home so she got a replacement when we got home and is not as attached as she was before!

When we got back to the room my DH was so relieved to see our bags there! See I told you it would be fine he said (Smart Alec)

So after a looong day we fell into bed and we were out.

Epcot tomorrow and MGM with the fantasmic package..........

Inluvwithdisney talked us into doing HDD and she was right! My daughter was jumping up and down laughing. It was worth every penny and what a great way to start the trip!

Day 2 Sunday December 11th ~ Epcot/MGM

We got up fairly early and headed to the POR food court for breakfast and our first real try at the food plan! I asked just to be sure how to use it and the gal at the food court told us to get all adult meals because they are all the same on the plan!! Go figure! Everyone pretty much said that to us thru-out the trip!! Anyway the food was pretty good and then we were off to Epcot!
We started our first park day at Epcot!! We arrived before the gates opened and were ready for the Rope drop! As it dropped it was a mad dash for Soarin'!

It was as great as I remembered from CA!! The sights, the feeling, the smells it was all awesome! And if you pay attention you can see the mickey head on the golf ball!!

Next it was on to MS we love this ride too! NO line at all! Disneymom does not do spinny rides so she headed for TT for fastpasses. We rode MS twice and then rode TT and then one more time on Soarin'! The morning was great so far!! We were done at Epcot for now and it was on to MGM!!

As we got to MGM it started to rain so we put on our ponchos and forged on!! The group went in to Beauty and the Beast to get seats and I ran to get fastpasses at RnRC! We ate our snacks and lunch during Beauty and the Beast! I had never seen that show and I loved it!!

After that we hit RnRc once with no line and again with our fast passes! It was my 6 yo first time and she LOVED it!! It was great to all get to go together!!

After that we headed to ToT! We did a switch pass for this as we could not convince my 6 or 8 you to go! What a rush I love that ride.

It was still raining so there was no stunt show that day! So we noted to make sure we saw it early on Friday when we were coming back!! AT this point we headed to the Great Movie Ride and tried to get the western guy but the wait was alot longer so we stuck with the gangster! When we came out it had stopped raining!!

We headed to get a spot for the parade and it was alot of fun! Very Holidayish!!

After the parade we decided to go to Star Tours and Disneymom decided to shop so we parted ways for a little while! When we returned she was sitting by our bag! We have a rolling cooler we have been taking to the parks for the last several years with drinks and snacks. NO big deal! We usually park it in stroller parking! This time we left it beside one of the shops! BAD IDEA! I guess all of MGM security were watching this what appearred to be abandoned bag! I guess they thought it was suspicious!! OOPS!! So the rest of the week we were more careful!

By this point it was time for our ADR at Hollywood and Vine!! All I can say is YUUUMMMYY!!! We loved it!! The turkey Pot roast was to die for! MMM MMM!

Then we strolled over to Osborne lights! What a fantastic sight!! Now it is time for FANTASMIC!!

I was pretty excited because I had never seen Fantasmic!

It was Amazing! I could not believe how incredible it was! And it was a beautiful night. After fantasmic Polly took her kids and headed to Illuminations. We took ours and headed to the resort for some much needed rest!!! What a terrific day!


Tomorrow MK!! ALL DAY!!!

HEY AWESOME WRITE UP ABOUT YOUR TRIP....KEEP GOING I LOVE READING EVERYTHING. My 23 year old IN LOVE w/Disney was sitting here and I kept throwing all the INITIALS at him and he got all of them (esp the rides) except for HDDR (hoop de do review)hahaha!!! We have been so many times and I did not know(almost anything) UGH.... MS (mission space) or ToT (tower of terror) and we were laughin' our heads off stumping him with your REVIEW!!!! I am anxiously awaiting MORE....PLUS pic's if you have any. DH & I leave 01/29/06 for the WONDER with a stay at AKL. NO KIDS. They are in college (master's) TOO BAD FOR THEM!!!! momrek06

What a fun report. Thanks for all the details. I know lots of the rides have height requirements. Do the CMs allow for parents to ok if a child is a little short but fearless or are the requirements all safety based?

DAY 3 Monday December 12th~~ Magic Kingdom

My family got up early for a 7:30 ADR at Ohanas! We got to the bus stop as the MK bus was pulling up! We were the first guests of the day! She asked where we were going and when I told her she said she would drop us at the TTC and we could walk over to the POLY and it would be quicker!! I thought that was very nice and it was perfect. I tipped her!

We were to the POLY by 10 after 7 and had a little time to look around at the Christmas decorations. We were called back right after the little opening ceremonies they do and seated right by the window with a great view!

Our breakfast was great!! The potatoes especially!! Stitch was alot of fun! He came to our table several times as the restaurant was not full. He would dump things over, tried to pour salt on my daughters waffle... He was being Stitch!! It was fun! We got to finally see Mickey too!! I loved this breakfast and would definitely do it again!

It was nice after breakfast to hop on the monorail and get to MK that fast! We met up with Disneymom at the rope ! As we entered and saw the Castle I finally knew we were here!! Goosebumps as if I had never seen it before!!

We took a few pictures and we were off to tomorrow land! WE did Stitch(which was cute but not great), BUZZ, spacemountain, then moved on to Tea Cups Mickey's philharmagic, pooh, peterpan, small world, Haunted mansion, Pirates, and Big Thunder!! For lunch we went over to Tom Sawyers Island and relaxed in the rocking chairs an ate our lunch!

We also hit splash mountain but only some of us went as it was a little chilly to get wet!! The others wore ponchos!!

We also did Tiki room for the first and last time! I wanted to try it and we did not like it very much!! As a matter of fact it was the joke the rest of the trip!

It was a VERY Magical DAY!! The atmosphere was just so great and I enjoyed the day so much!!

The kids really started getting into pin trading and it was fun!! Our kids got along so well it was great!!!

For dinner we went to Pecos Bills! We really like this restaurant and boy do you get a ton of food on this dining plan!!!

After dinner it was time to get a spot for the parade and the fireworks! we got a great one and Both were fantastic!! The Christmas atmosphere was soo fun! It was another Magical day!!

Tomorrow Animal Kingdom!!

When my son was 3, he was just a hair short of the height requirement for Splash and they absolutely would NOT let him ride. They said it was a definite safety precaution.
