I haven't forgotten, so don't worry.

I've had a few things to sort out lately, but I have my notes and the last week of our trip is written already. I just need to write the days upto christmas then it should be finished.

I'm glad I am not the only onw who hasn't gotten a chance to finish their Christmas trip report. Your DH was so nice to play Santa for our kids. I trully appreciated it. I wish that we could have met up. We will definitely have to try if we are there again at the same time.

Finally another day added..


Day 5 21th Dec


This was a cold day! (not the weather I have come to expect of Florida!) We decided to go to MGM, after a late breakfast at POP.

Dh and the girls decided to go for Rock ‘n’ rollercoaster to start the day, me being a bit of a coaster chicken just had to sit this one out!
Then from R&R the went straight on to T&T, another one of those rides that mommy doesn’t do! While I was sitting waiting for them to come out watching the pictures waiting to see their faces along came DH with Emalie. Em had got all the way to being loaded onto the car and said it wasn’t for her! I can’t blame her I have done it once and I will never ever go on it again! Next we went on the Backlot tour,as good as always, then we joined the big crowd of people waiting for Lights, motor action! I don’t like heights and went I saw how high we were going to have to go to get a seat my heart sank! But for the girls I climb what felt like 100’s of steps to the first empty seats! (it not so much the going up that I dislike but the coming down as I have the fear of falling!) It was worth all my fear, just next time I will get there early to get a lower seat!

As we left LMA we went to ABC comminiasry(sp) for a late lunch. We shared 2 counter services between the 4 of us. It didn't seem as good as last time we were there, could have been because the fixings bar had gone.

Afterwards we found a spot to watch the Hollywood Christmas parade near Star Tours.

Then onto Star Tours ( I love this DH doesn’t so this is when mommy gets to go it alone with the girls! ) we caught the street performers on our way our, we always have to stand and watch them they are all so good! They were doing there own 12 days of Christmas it was soooo funny!

We went back to Pop to get changed for dinner at the beach club.
We went to the Clam Bake at Cape May café at 7pm. This was great, Jess loves seafood as I do and we were in heaven. If you ask Emalie what the best bit about dinner was she would say being able to draw on the table! To be fair was all had a great time drawing on the table!
Then it was back to Pop and to bed!

Day 6 22th Dec

A Chilly Day.

We left Pop about 9am and headed to Epcot, we got fast passes for Soarin’ again! (We can’t get enough of this ride). We went to Turtle Talk while waiting for our fastpass time. Turtle talk was so good! Before Soarin’ we went on Living with the Land. We were on row 3 for soarin’ this has to be the worst row; it is worth waiting for the middle or top row! After Soarin’ we shared 2 counter meals at seasons (I love this place as there is so much to choose from!).

We decided to head back to Pop as Emalie wanted to go Swimming and I had Laundry to do! The plan was to return to Epcot and watch the fireworks. We had dinner in the food court at Pop then got the bus to Epcot.

We walked around the world but decided that it was too cold to stand and wait for the fireworks and as we had plenty of time we would catch them another (warmer) day.
So we grabbed a hot chocolate and headed to the bus. The girls got an early night and we all got to chill out!

Day 7 23th Dec

Another Chilly Day.

This we had as a shopping day on our original plan but it turned out to be a MK day!

As we had an early night we had and early start this morning. We started the day in tomorrowland and rode the peoplemover and buzz with no wait. We then walked back via the hub and watched Cinderabration, then onto POC (that dip gets me everytime) then the jungle cruise. Our boat captain wasn’t very good, we have had better!

We had lunch at cosmic rays. We shared 2 pulled BBQ pork sandwiches with the fixings bar we didn’t need anymore!

We then decided that MK was starting to get busy so we go the boat to WL to see the Christmas tree. It was wonderful! This was our first visit to the lodge and it was great. The Christmas cookies were lovely. We got the boat back to MK then the ferry to TTA, then in the car to downtown Disney.

We wandered around the shops and had dinner at Earl of Sandwich (yummy!) After dinner we headed back to MK to watch spectromagic, then back to Pop and to bed!

this trip sounds so great and relaxed.....how many days were you there for? We're only on day 7!
