SPOODLES:Just the facts.
HB & I are headed over to the BW for the much anticipated M&G! It begins to rain a bit so we duck into ESPN and check out the place for a few minutes. Very little traffic on the boardwalk itself....doesn't look like anyone has shown up yet. Nobody in front of Spoodles or under any umbrella...hmmm...(BTW, it is getting a bit cold too!) We see a store, we go in, we buy sweatshirts. Is that palmickey?? I am pretty sure I recognized her from a picture somewhere. But she is walking away from Spoodles...
We lean against the boat dock railing. I am looking for Erin actually (at the time I did not know she was lost and wandering--LOL!) or the Cave Clan--figured I was pretty sure they would be easy because of kids. EJ--I have the avatar imprinted...so I'm scoping. Suspected palmickey turns around with friend and starts coming back to Spoodles. I take the chance and step out--next thing you know we are meeting palmickey and Brenda! Then, OMG!!  It's DC's Half Yard President herself! The Empress and Mr. Dark & Handsome (Pete). A smiling couple approaches with the cutest shirts! "Is that you Tigger??" LOL!Here comes this fella with a big smile--it's d'guru; followed by Mickaholic and her Mom Brenda--Mick has the sweetest smile! I recognize Lil' and go over to say hi and give her a hug...so I hug her and say "Lil' it's so nice to finally meet you"; She says: "Debbie"; I say: "No, just call me Deb"; She says: "No, MY name is Debble" and laughs; I say:  !And then I see this...maniac running at me with his arms all waving around kind of wild...and he is acting like he might know me. I throw up my hand and say "Stop! If you are really Cavey then show me your butt"! I relaxed when I recognized that is was CJ. Still no Erin. Or Gingita. My cell phone rings--could it be BossMouse calling a little early because he was so jazzed about talking to us???? No--it was a responsible Gingita calling to say that she was running a little late and she would be joining us as soon as she could. We went inside and had a table in just a few moments--we even had about 3 CMs all to ourselves!! LOL! Lisbeth was great-she stood on a chair and took a group picture with everyone's camera! She was there for about 20 minutes. Cavey tells us about Erin and her directionally challenged day. But she is going to stop in and say hi to everyone. A few minutes later--in she walks! And then...
