I just love this picture. I think Ryan was just ecstatic to be back in California with our friends.
 Whatever it was, it made for a great pic!And YES, to answer your question lovemysons, we got TONS of goodies!  We felt really blessed! All sorts of clothes, blankets, diapers, etc. It was quite a haul!

After the baby shower, we headed back to the hotel for some much-needed sleep!
 Tomorrow we were off to the parks! This is just a random pic I took of the hotel pool. I wish we actually had a chance to swim!  Someday we will stay here when we're not running around like chickens with our heads cut off...

Day 3: Sunday, 10/1
Sunday morning, we let ourselves sleep in a little bit to try and catch up. We were supposed to meet Michael by the Disneyland Kennel at 10:30 AM. Unfortunately he was running a little late, so we ended up hanging out for a while...  We were a impatient to get into the parks! Ryan waiting, wistfully dreaming of Splash Mountain...

When Michael arrived, we hopped in line.
Look at these AWESOME decorations above the turnstiles!!!!!  Aren't they the coolest?  Disneyland was done up RIGHT for Halloween. It was soooooo cool.

Okay, here's where my TR is really just a pictorial. I can't remember any of the attractions we did or when. I was pretty tired, just trying to soak it all in and endure the crowds and heat.

Jack Sparrow himself!
(I had to take this picture from far away and get some strange people in it...the crowds around Jack were crazy!  I have no idea who that lady with him is. LOL)Now, I have to say that while we weren't that impressed with Jack's "look" (his face was a little - off - to us ) this guy was AMAZING!! We laughed really hard in just the minute or so that we were watching. He had Jack's mannerisms down to a tee.For example: when a child's autograph book flipped shut while he was signing it, he gave the book a look of utter disdain and BLEW it back open with his mouth.  It was really funny.
