BYUdad's 1 day run through DLR
Good morning everyone! It's just past 8:00 a.m. here on the left coast and I'm up and around because today we're going to Disneyland
 !! As you can see from my countdown, we are headed back to WDW in a little over a week  . However, since there are six of us going, it'll probably get pretty hectic. So, DW and I decided we wanted to just spend a relaxing day together before we go. My DW (Lynnae) teaches a 3/4 grade special ed class at a year round public school in Anaheim and yesterday was the last day of school for the kids on her track (she doesn't go back to school until the end of November). I was able to take a vacation day at work. The park opens today at 10:00 a.m. and our CM DD (Leslie) is going to sign us in. She told us the crowd estimates during the week were only 23,000, so we are stoked!! I'm taking our new digital camera to try out before the big WDW trip, so hopefully I'll be posting a TR with pictures when we get home. See you then! Whooo Hooo, were off to Disneyland  !!!

Okay, we just got back! We had a wonderful time, probably one of the best times we've enjoyed together at Disneyland. After running a few errands this morning, we finally got to the park, parked in the parking structure and got dropped off by the tram at around 11:00 a.m. Leslie met us and I snapped the following pics as we got in line to get into the park. I was really interested in the Halloween decorations since this is the first year that they have done this at DLR. They were really cool.

Okay, here's the last one as we were about to enter the park. I like to think of this as my artistic Halloween shot. See how the Mickey pumpkin is peeking through the branches of the tree? Pretty non-scary in a Disney sort of way

Here's a candid shot of Lynnae and Leslie right after we entered Disneyland. Leslie works in scheduling pretty much all the time now and they are required to wear a costume of the area for which they schedule. Since she schedules for the New Orleans Square/Critter County area, today, she wore a canoe costume.
