I have many pictures and sketchy details. I must admitt that this is the frist trip that I did not start the report before now and the only trip that I didn't take notes. I will have to let the pictures jog my memory and go from there. It was a nice trip..lots of bumps in the road. I almost got in a car and drove home Sunday night..lol It worked out in the end and was a nice trip. So with out further delay, here it is the trip report that I promised with loads of pictures.

Cast: me (32), DBF (45), DD (12), DD'sGF who will be known as GF for the report (13), DBF'sDS who will be known as DS in the report (13), and DBF'sDN who will be known as DN in this report (15).

Departure day - Wednesday 10/25

DBF's brother dropped off his son at my house at 9pm the night before. WE all swore we were not going to sleep at all and just wait until 3am and get going. We nixed that idea and went to bed a little after 11pm.

I woke up to the alarm at 2:15 and was not happy...lol I sprung up soon enough and woke up both DN and my DD. I started to get myself ready and went back and woke them up again....and again....getting the picture? I should have made them sleep longer. We called DF at 2:34 and told her we would be there to pick her up at 3:15am. We were out of the house by 5 after three and at her house on time. Thankfully, she was waiting by the door and was ready to go. I waited for her mom to get me a copy of her insurance cards and her note for medical attention and we were quickly on our way.

We drove first to the nearest WaWa for drinks and something to eat on the ride. Unfortunately, there is no where to get breakfast that early in the moring, so we had hot dogs and energy drinks...ok I had two..lol I had a cannon sized monster while I was getting ready at the house and another one at the wawa... We ate while I drove and were at the Atlantic City airport in no time (50minutes flat). We lucked out on parking and was right up front in section 1A. It was freezing! We got in the airport and waited for them to open up the security desk. While we waited I took pictures of my happy travelers..

wow that was a rough picture...sorry all remember I am a rookie with this camera.

So soon enough security opened and we got through with no issues. We settled at the gate and were amazed at how small this airport is. I am going to try to go there for each trip...much nicer than philly. We slid into the bar where I got the kids all a red bull and I had a double captain and coke..lol We loaded up on the plane and were thrilled to see that it wasn't even close to being full. I moved up a row and sat with DN and the girls were right behind me. DN was alseep before we took off and I just sat there praying the entire flight. It was mega bumpy!

We landed in orlando perfectly on time (first WDW trip ever for me to land on time) and we made our way to the baggage claim. I ws showing DN what to do for his return flight on Sunday while we walked through. He was flying alone and I wanted to make sure he knwn what to do. The towncar driver was waiting at the escalator and I made my way over to her. I asked her to grab the car and meet me. I had three kids and myself and did not need her help with the luggage....I just wanted to get to the resort ASAP.

The luggage came out and we were on our way. I called DBF while we were driving and he was waiting for us at OKW. As we were pulling in, I saw DBF unloading his car. We met up at the bell services desk and went into check in.

They were unable to grant any of my building requests. I asked for building 62,63 or 64 in that order. We had the choice between 23 and 18. 18 was ready right away, so we went with that one. I paid for the dining and when the lady printed my room keys, they all said unknown as the name except for mine. She told me that it wouldn't be an issue. They were having updates done and all the CM's on property were aware of it...ok.

We grabbed the bags and walked to building 18 that really wasnt that far from what I wanted anyway. No biggie. We had to carry all the luggage up to room 1820 on the second floor because there was no elevator...should have got bell services to bring the luggage I think...whew! what a work out that was. WE were in the room soon enough and were just in awe! This place is beautiul! llama called me soon after we got in and just listened to me gush on the phone. Here is what the room looked like.

The kids headed right to AK as a group. I opted to stay at the resort with DBF. He went to the pool and I unpacked and waited for the groceries to be delievered. The kids were told to be back by 4pm to get ready for our dinner at O'hanna.

I finished the unpacking and had some time to kill, so I got myself in that jet tub and just soaked...ahhh fantastic!

The grocery deliever still had some time yet. They were due to be there between 2 and 4pm, so I went down to the pool to see what DBF was doing. He was in the pool acting like a child. It was adorable. Here is DBf in the big theme pool playing. He went down the slide too....the lifeguard almost wet her pants..lol

He opted to stay and play and I had to get back to the room to get the groceries. I took some more pictures of the room while I waited.
