I posted this in another thread but I thought I would start a thread about it since I've been meaning to for several weeks.

This isn't my trip report (I wish it was) but the trip report from the family who won the Magic Kingdom all to themselves a month or so ago. She starts at the beginning on how they won the trip and she describes what that day was like when her family had Magic Kingdom opened just for them.

I read all 29 pages of it (okay, really just her posts), but it was so sweet and amazing to read. I am glad it went to such a great family!

Whew! Just finished reading. There are several pages that are nothing but replies.

It really was very sweet, though. How nice that the winning family was so into the spirit of the Disney Magic.

Wasn't it wonderful how much they loved the whole thing? They seemed like someone who would live next door to any of us, just so every day. You could hear how much they appreciated it and didn't expect a thing.

So, am I the only dork that got choked up on alot of it??

She is an excellent author, and just to echo the sentiments of the rest of you - what a deserving winner. The whole family seems so sweet and appreciative!

Nope.

I got teary when she described walking into MK, it being so quiet. They got to really see all the detail in everything, then the music started - just for them!
Can you imagine??

And I thought it was only the MK thing (along with a hotel room.) I didn't realize they would have basically fast-passes and private entrances to everything! Wow!
