WEDINDISNEY'S Trip Report
Hey gang.... We made it back safe and sound last sunday afternoon. Sorry its taking me so long to start the trip report but Im still trying to figure out my new digital camera and getting the photos into my computer etc.... Anyway's Here are the 1st few days and I will add the rest later on....
TIME: November 26th thru Dec 2nd CREW: DH and Me RESORT: SARATOGA SPRINGS Day 1 & 2 (Friday into sat, Sat and Sun) DH and I left NJ on friday night around 10 pm and with stops to eat, fuel etc along the way we made it to Disney World around 630 pm on Saturday... We werent checking into SSR until sunday so we decided to stay at the Double Tree Suites on Lk Buena Vista Dr in DTD..... We got a room (which wasnt cheap at all it was a little under 200.00) but oh well... We were so tired that we just went downstairs and got a quick bite to eat and came back up to the room and went to sleep.... We woke up early on sunday and decided to have breakfast at the shoneys that was right around the corner.... We finally made it to check in at SSR at around 10am. Our 1 bedroom unit was ready and they had us in the Congress Park section... Well as the CM was showing us where the unit was my DH was like WOW we are far away from the main pool and gym etc... So the CM smiles and says if you are willing to go the gym while you are on vacation then I have to find you a closer unit, which she did... She put is the Springs section which was right across the way from the pool,spa and right next to the bus stop.... We were in room 4325..... WOW this was kewl so close to everything... The only thing was that we couldnt get the room till 4pm which was fine with us.... So we got all of our Welcome Home information, parking pass etc and decided that we would head over to DTD and look around and get lunch.... After DTD we drove over to the POLY and were going to take the monorail to the MK so that we could get our annual passes.... No wait at all in the line everything went so fast and before you knew it we were standing on Main Street and of coarse I started to cry... It was about 130pm by this time so we just started walking around and checking out all the X-mas decoration. It was amazing... The other amazing thing is that there really wasnt alot of people at all... So it was nice to just walk around the magic for a little while. We finally realized that it was almot 3:30 and wanted to get back to the monorail and head back to the POLY so that we could drive back to SSR and check into the room... We got to SSR almost an hour later cause there was a problem with the monorail so we had to wait a little while...(which didnt bother me at all being stuck on my first day there and having to look at the MK from the monorail for about 20 mins) We got to the gate at SSR and the security officer says "Welcome Home" and I started laughing... I just LOVED  the sound of that.... Got to the room and OMG it was awesome .... I was ready to live there... We unpacked the car and got the room all ready and decided to go out and get some food, snacks, milk etc for the condo and just drive around for a little while. Well we saw this sign that said supermarker on it right around the corner from SSR...(it was down the street from the crossroads) So we went in and I almost fell over in the aisle... 4.50 for 1/2 a gallon of OJ 8.25 for a 1/2 a gallon of ice creme... I looked at DH and he looked at me and were like we are out of here... On the way we asked a man walking in (who turned out to work there oops) if there was a super walmart or something around the area and he was like oh yea go out and make a left and its about 2 miles down on the left. thanks and off we went... Found the super walmart and I was amazed. We dont have any super walmarts by us so... We bought everything that we need and headed back to SSR. Unpacked all the food and such and it was almost 9pm by this time so we decided to eat in and then we headed over to the pool and hot tub for about 2 hours and then called it a night seeing as how we were going to head to Epcot in the am.... Will start Day 3 later tonight/early tomorrow...

Im still trying to figure out how to get the pics from my digital camera into the computer... I have never done this before and still cant figure it out.... My friend is going to come over tomorrow night and help me if I cant figure out what Im doing wrong by then.... Once I get the pics in I will let ya'all know.... SORRY

Great start to the trip! I just came back from a stay at SSR and really liked it. Although I was SOOOOO FAR from everything! We stayed in the Carousel Section (supposedly the newest) in the building next to the Paddock. I liked it!
Can't wait to see some pics, too!!!!!! Transferring them over to your computer is EASY. Just install the CD that came with your camera. Then follow the directions in the manual...or just simply try to plug your camera in with the USB cable and see what happens! After you do that, you have to resize them, too. Then you can attach them here!
