and I promise I'll be starting my TR in the next couple of days, but I'm exhausted, so I'm going to sleep in tommorow (if my little one lets me ), and many naps tommorow too!!

I've got so much to tell you....meeting alilmagical32, MVMCP, a preview of Monsters Inc., a couple of little dreams, a trip to Vista Way, a first haircut, baby's first Mickey encounter,etc. etc. etc.

I've finally got a couple minutes, so let's get this thing started!! First of all, I will be posting pictures, but it won't be for a couple of days....at the end of everyday, we all dumped our pictures/videos on to a hard drive my father brought along, so he has them all right now, but I should have them in a couple of days......

Sat. Dec. 9th

We had a 5:50am flight, so we were up waaaaayyyyy before the crack of dawn and at the airport by 4:30am. I was really worried because this was Baby P's first flight, and I was holding him on my lap. I had nothing to fear because he was an absolute angel. He fell asleep on take off, and giggled when the plane landing and we did a few bounces.

Orlando's weather was beautiful when we arrived (and for the whole trip!!)....70's to 80's with 60 at night. This midwest girl could not have asked for more!!

We went and found Magical Express, which had changed location in the airport since the last time we used it, and were absolutely shocked at the number of people waiting in line to use the service (I've got pictures)...this line was huge!!!!! It had to be 300 people long. At this point, I begin to panic....I was scared there was going to be wall to wall people for our whole trip (Jan. is my fav time to go because of the light crowds)!

Now I need to give props to ME....they got us through the unbelivable sea of people in about 20 minutes, and it was about 10 minutes until our bus arrived. In no time at all we were on our way to the FQ and a magical week!!!(and I was feeling a little better about the sea of people )

When we pulled up to FQ, I knew it was going to be my new favorite resort! It is such a beautiful place! And so peaceful....even on the busy days it still seemed like we had plenty of room. I love FQ!!!!

It was a little after 11am by this time, and we were planning to check in and head to MK, since we usually can't get in to our room until after 3pm, but believe it or not, our rooms were ready, and we were very close....Building 2, ground floor, pool view. It was honestly a 1 minute walk to the food court. Have I mentioned that I love FQ??!!

More later....I had a great surprise waiting for me in our room.....

So we headed to our room to check it out....we were supposed to meet our cast member friend, Anna, later that day at MK were she works, but surprise surprise.....she was waiting for us in our room!!! She had taken a few days off and was going to get to hang out with us way more than expected! A great surprise.

After bouncing on the beds a bit, we hit the Sassagoula Floatworks for some grub. Great food....best burger we've had at Disney.

Then it was off to MK. It was very crowded, but I had expected it with MouseFest and it being a Saturday. We still got to do quite a few things....Jack Sparrows Pirate Tutorial (an awesome show!! ), Tiki Room, Haunted Mansion (Baby P's first official ride....he loved it!!!), Peter Pan (after a 50 minute wait and a group in front of us pulling about 20 people into line !!!), Spectromagic, Wishes, Buzz Lightyear, and Space Mountain.

One of the highlights of the evening was not Disney related however....We got to see the space shuttle go up! It was a night launch, and was an absolutely beautiful sight. I've got pictures that I'll post soon. We were right in front of the castle and the combination of the shuttle, the Christmas lights, and being at Disney was overwhelming....and I wasn't the only one feeling it.....there were people around me with tears in thier eyes, and they started a USA chant. It was a really great evening.

Day 2 Epcot-

We grabbed some beignets (spelling??) from Floatworks (which are awesome by the way!) and headed out to the bus stop. We had a great experience with the buses at FQ. The most we waited was maybe 15 minutes one time, otherwise it was 5 to 10.

We got to Epcot by rope drop and followed the sea of people to the Land and Soarin'. We got fast passes and headed over to the Seas and rode Nemo (this is a really cute little ride and there was never a wait...we walked on everytime). Headed back to Soarin' to use our FP's and then it was time for my parents to go on thier Behind the Seeds tour (which they loved!).

Jason and D went to ride MS and TT, while S, Baby P, and I waited for my parents in the Land pavilion. You see S is normally very afraid of thrill rides, however, that all changes during the course of this trip....more on that later.

We got on Soarin' again, did a little shopping at Mouse Gears, and then headed into the Character Connection. I think this was one of my favorite moments of the trip.....this was Baby P's first meeting with the real Mickey Mouse!!! Mickey is BP's favorite!!! He has a Baby Mickey plush toy that he sleeps with everynight (I got it for him when we were in DW over 4th of July when I was pregnant with him).

It was really a precious moment....we were standing in line, when all of a sudden Mickey comes out, and BP's mouth dropped open, and then he smiled the biggest smile ....it was everything I could do to keep him in my arms the rest of the way through the line....he was a wiggle worm trying to get to Mickey!

When it was finally our turn, I set BP down a little ways away from Mickey (so he could walk up to him at his own pace), and he ran full barrel into Mickey's arms. I almost cried it was so sweet. He kissed Mickey's nose, played with the buttons on Mickey's shirt, and hugged and hugged and hugged him! I finally coaxed him away with the promise of seeing Mickey later, and we moved over to see Pluto, Goofy, Minnie, Chip, and Dale....which he hugged on as just as much as Mickey....in fact, he sat down on Dales lap and wasn't going to get up (and Dale was hugging him so much I didn't think Dale was going to let him go either!! )

After the Character Connection we rode SE and headed back to the hotel for an afternoon break.....
