tiggerlovers christmastime day trip

About a week ago Richard and I decided to go to Disney for the day since on Friday because he was off from work

Two days ago we decided to see if we could get breakfast at Ohana's sadly they were booked ( I had no hope just thought for a fluke they might have an ADR ) so I did the next best thing and made a ADR at Kona's with hopes of getting there early enough that Ohana's would be able to fit us in

We left the house ahead of schedule and was on the turnpike at 6:30 am ( Richard wanted to get an early start to our day )

We arrived at the Poly at 8 am and ran upstairs and went to Ohana's to see as a fluke if we could get in Yep they could fit us in I went over to Kona and cancelled the ADR and we only had to wait a few minutes and were seated at the same table that we were at the last time we were here for dinner . After seeing the characters and having a yummy breakfast we were off to the grand floridian to explore ( Plus I wanted to see the gingerbread house and buy a treat there ...

After that we got to Epcot about 10:30 am and did figment and went and got fast passes for Soaring

Onto world showcase Richard really wanted to come to Epcot for one rease we never have done the Holiday story tellers so that was what we wanted to do Today First one was at 11:15 it was Canada he was pretty cool talking about Canadas traditions .

Next one that was time for was France's Richard called him Santa on Crack since he was so skinny ( )

Next it was off to America to see the Chanukkah storry teller ( I know you are thinking why am I am a jewish girl going to see the Chanukkah one Well Richard didnt want to see the Kwanzaa one thats why )

We then went to Italy to see the holiday story telller La Beufana ( christmas witch ) ( I was so excited since before school let out we taught the kids different countries traditions and well we learned about Le Beufana I even got a picture of us together to show the kids .

then it was off to norway for a snack at the pastry shop and to see the monkey king at china and to see the german story teller . we then saw the mexican story teller and then went to see Norways storyteller . we then ended up at United Kingdoms and last was Morrocan but he was a little boring and well we were hungry by this time so we at at Tangerine cafe ( we were disappointed this time the food was just ok not as good as usual ) . then we decided to hit the road to MGM and Osbourne family of lights . Well we never did soaring because we got caught up doing the holiday storytellers but thats ok we didnt mind it since we have been on it before .

We went to MGM we got to it before the lights were even on but then they did and they did the dancing lights show and we decided to walk through and wait until they did the show again ( they are amazing ) well we did it another round and a third round and well it started to rain ( it was threatening but never did all day until that point ) so we made a bee line for the exit and our car and off to DTD to do some shopping ( Richard wanted to get me some stocking stuffers at Basin and of course he needed me to pick it out ) then off to get dessert at Goofys candy shop and we were off to go home which it rained the most of the way home ( scary rain ) thought a couple of times we would get into an accident on the Turnpike for everyone knows how dark that road is in some parts . We made it home about 9 30 and crashed

Sounds like a perfect disney day to me. I am glad you guys got to take a little day trip and do the story tellers. That sounds so interesting and I sware one day I am going to get there for that. Thank you for sharing the report. I very much enjoyed it.
