I am still resizing pics, but I will start with day 1.

I'll try to keep this one less wordy and there are lots of pics. So here we go....!

Day 1 - check-in, BBB, PPP.

We depart Lake Wales, FL around 11:00 a.m. There is a really good New York style pizza place (NY Pizza Baby) near here where we HAVE to stop for lunch. We eat a lasagna pizza, and get on our way.

With one stop for gas, we arrive a POP around 1:00. Check-in goes smoothly and they tell us our room is available so we can check in.

While my kids are waiting in a lounge area with a TV for us to check in, my DD spots a hidden mickey (She will find several more this trip).

We got settled in and unpacked a little. At around 2:00 I wanted to head to DTD because my DD had an appointment for BBB at 4:00. I wanted to see if she could get in early. We made it to BBB by 3:00 and checked in. They gave us a pager and told us they were running on schedule and they would see her in an hour. Having an hour to kill in WoD can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. Of course we had to shop.

This is where the story about the dress comes in.

Here is a pic of family waiting for DTD bus. Notice DD's plain dress. She wore this for Halloween as a Medieval princess and the deal was she would wear it for PPP. It didn't cost much, but she liked it.

Now, Dad sees all the other little princesses in the beautiful gowns and says DD's dress looks like pajamas. We had decided this trip was for fun and not a lot of souvenirs (yeah right). I had told the kids they could get pins and that was it. Who was I kidding?!

Dad quickly asked DD if she would like another dress. Duh! So she picked out a really pretty Aurora one. It did look MUCH better than her old dress. She really felt like a princess now. While DD was getting her hair done, Dad took DS to the pirate room and tried to buy him some accessories for the costume he already had. He got an eye patch and a sword. We tried to get him a hat, but he was happy with a bandana.

Now, while DD was in BBB it began to downpour. I was worried our night would be a wash out. Fortunately for us it stopped in about 30 mins. We bought rain ponchos anyway and headed to MK, which is no easy task btw, from DTD.

We caught a bus to Port Orleans Riverside (a busdriver told us this would be quickest) and changed buses to MK. All in all it took about 30 mins. We arrived on Mainstreet via redcarpet around 5:30.

We were all getting hungry and had not made dinner ADRs, so we set off for Pecos Bill's. We grabbed burgers and such. While we were eating a family at a neigboring table offered us their desserts as they were full. How nice of them.

After eating we noticed that the park was not very crowded. I think the rain had sent people home and the party guests had not arrived yet. It was really wierd.

We stopped and sat behind the castle to watch Wishes. It was differnt from back here, but still really great. Once Wishes ended we had 1/2 hour before the party started so we took some photos.
