Now Dale got away without signing our books, so we had to track him down and ask him to please come back. He was on his way to visit another table, so it took a while, but it was worth it.

Here is Dale's reaction to the fact that Chip used up all the space on the autograph page in Grace's book. We had another page for Chip & Dale, but it was reserved for the picture. Now we have no room for the photos, but that's okay. I'm sure I'll be making another book for the pictures to go in!

For those of you who are bored with all these breakfast pictures here is the last one.

Our wonderful breakfast - which I had to convince my MIL was included in our package (she had such a hard time grasping that concept! ) - was 4 adult TS credits, 2 child TS credits, totaling $112. It was completely and totally worth it, even if we'd paid OOP.

The girls still talk about the breakfast, especially when Goofy walked by the buffet on his way to the break area, and rubbed his tummy like he was hungry. That cracked them up then, and still does today!

This picture was taken right before we left, as Minnie came by the table one last time to say good-bye.

Tomorrow's continued update of Day 3 - our best day - will include fewer pictures, as we spent the afternoon at Downtown Disney for the girls' appointment at the BBB.

Beth, I smiled (and held back a few tears) through your trip report! I am LOVING IT!! Your kids are so cute and you can see their pure joy shining through!!! I can't wait to read more, and oh yah, I would love to buy one or two of those books also! They are beautiful!

No, sorry, we left on 1/31, unfortunately. That's interesting that you saw another child like Christian, though; we only saw a few and we always have our antenna up about other kids like him.

that is odd- I swear I saw him! and they were trying to keep his chair out of the rain- it was worth grabbing my attention.

After breakfast, it was time for the girls to get to Downtown Disney, so Rose and Grace could have their surprise appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. The Pirate & Princess party was tonight, so I wanted to get them all “fancied-up,” as we like to call it. For all they knew, they were just going shopping!

The boys decided to go up to the room to take a little rest, and would then decide if they were going to go to Epcot or Magic Kingdom for the afternoon. We were all “supposed” to meet up for dinner later, before the girls and I went to the party. The day was to be full of surprises, however, as I had made arrangements for MIL and FIL to go to dinner at Victoria and Albert’s, to thank them for paying for the trip. They had thought we all were going back to Cape May Café for dinner; we were, they weren’t.

MIL, the girls and I walked over to the bus stop at the BCV, and did not wait very long before a DTD bus came along. We really had good luck with buses this week (that is, until tonight; more on that later.) We were running late for our appointment, after taking such a long time visiting with our new best friends, so we really had to run so we wouldn’t be late!

As we headed toward World of Disney, the girls were asking why we had to hurry. I didn’t tell them until we walked to the back of the store and stopped in front of the BBB. They couldn’t believe that they were getting to go there! They had read about it and heard about it (I think I may have even said, “Wouldn’t it be cool to go there?”) and they were so excited about their makeover! I had done my research about the BBB, and brought along the girls’ costumes (Jasmine for Rose, Snow White for Grace) so they could wear them when we got their photos done afterwards.

When we went to check in, I had expected to have to wait a while, but we didn’t! First they gave the girls their brochures with ‘Princess Rose’ and ‘Princess Grace’ written on them, and then they called them back for their appointment! I had chosen the $45 option , the “crown” package, which included hair, makeup and nails, but you can also go without the nails ($35) or go all out and get the crown package, plus a costume and accessories, and a package of pics from the photo shoot ($175).

They were each introduced to their “Fairy Godmother in Training” and brought back to the pretty pink sparkly chairs. Rose’s FGiT was named Rosa, and she was training Gloria. Erin was the name of Grace's FGiT. Then the girls looked at the brochure, which showed the different hairstyles they could choose from. These included Disney Diva, Pop Princess and Fairytale Princess. Rose chose Disney Diva and Grace chose Fairy-tale princess. As it turned out, I was glad they had chosen different hairstyles.

I had been told to get them dressed in their costumes ahead of time, because there is only one changing room, but it would have ruined the surprise, so Rose had to take a minute to change before the “FGiT” could start working on her hair. When it was time for Grace to put her costume on, we ran into our first big meltdown of the vacation!

Apparently, in the five minutes since she found out about her appointment at the BBB, Grace had set her heart on being Aurora, her newest favorite princess. Well, as you just read, I had brought the Snow White costume that she wore for Halloween. (I actually never understood why she chose to be SW, because she is not a favorite of ours. I have never liked her singing, even as a child, and passed this dislike onto my children!) Grace was adamant that she did not want to be Snow White! She started to pout and fuss, and I was ready to send that kid out into the hallway with MIL and Kate! I was paying $45 for this makeover; I was not about to add the cost of an entire costume, especially at full price! (I had gotten their Hween costumes for 40 percent off!)

However, MIL the softie told me that she would kick in half if I wanted to give in. Mostly to avoid any more whining (which is NOT something I usually give in to, BTW), I agreed and let Grace pick out a costume. Well, she changed her mind to Tinkerbell, and was there a Tink costume in her size on the racks at WoD? Of course there wasn't! Erin, however, promised that they had some in the back, so she set to work on Grace's hair, saying we'd get the costume after she was all "fancied up."
