tigger03 Animal Kingdom

Well I know it's late, but I have been sleeping most of yesterday and today as I brought back an unwanted souvenier of an ear infection and 2 out of 3 kids have bad colds too( just glad it all waited till we got home-might have something to do with the rain we incountered and the 40degree weather change between MI and FL:hmmm ). So since I am awake I thought I would post day 2 at AK.
Had a great breakfast at the ASM cafe(those mickey waffles are so cute).

I think the long day at MK caught up to oldest daughter on the 2nd day as she was a little tired and grumpy

But we pressed forward. We actually saw it's tough to be a bug. Everyone loved it except for my 3 year old(surprise ). She got a beenie elephant and that made everything better. Then we saw some african street acts, walked the animal trails(drawing a blank on the trail name) saw some gorillas(very cool), fp kilamanjaro safari(everyone loved it DD1 1/2 slept half way through it), caught Baloo after that for a pic and autograph caught a glimpse of divine walking by, but didn't get a pic in time. Did rafiki's planet watch, that was kinda neat, Dh took the 2 older girls in the petting zoo area. The kids really like the little puppet show/movie in the conservation center. We just missed rafiki(don't despair though). Headed over to Dinoland. Had a very late lunch( I would be happy to never see another mcdonalds after this trip, that's all the kids and DH kept eating, not adventerus eaters) played a game rode triceratops, the little ones fell asleep so my and DD 7 and I saw Pochantas and Lion King, both were great. I was a little bummed we missed tarzan and the parade though. So much to see so little time.

By the time we got back to the hotel it started to down pour. So we had dinner at the cafe(yes we really liked the place:D ) Took the girls to the arcade, had a great time there, and even made it back to the room in time for my FAVORITE SHOW 24(yes I am a Kiefer Sutherland fan:love: feel free to tease me, everyone else does:D )
