Our unplanned and full of magical surprises trip!

Hey all DH and I just walked in the door!

We're back from FL!

We stayed offsite since we didn't plan on visiting the "world"...
But it's funny how things change!!
We even came home AP holders !!!

This trip it was just DH and I. (Today is our offical anniversary--6 years--and we thought we'd celebrate with a trip!)

Once I get moving loading up our 260

photos, I'll get on with the trip report!

Well let's get this show on the road!

Dates: Monday April 30th-Saturday May 5th

Our trip began kind of sad I loaded my DD into the car with my aunt to go to Williamsburg, VA (my aunt asked before our trip was planned which is what made us plan a trip alone--It's hard being in the house without her here!

And this is the longest she's ever been away from us! She's coming home tonight, thank goodness!)

Anyway--- We packed up our car with our luggage and the dog and her supplies, dropped the dog off at the pet resort (kennel, well doggie hotel really) and drove up to Newburgh, NY for our first flight ever out of Stewart Airport!

The airport was so small that we had our bags checked and thru security in 2 mins with NO LINES! There were only 8 gates and we were at #7 waiting for our 3pm Jetblue flight.

We boarded the 1/2 empty flight

and were off to MCO.
We collected our luggage and were off to get our rental car from Dollar.
And off to our hotel.

We stayed offsite since we had no intentions of going to WDW this time.
We were in the Fairfield Inn in Lake Buena Vista, nice place! Our second time there!

We checked in without a hitch and dropped our luggage off in our room and went back out for some dinner, Cracker Barrel! Yum!

Then we hit Downtown Disney (which is around the corner from the hotel) for some Ghiredelli's ! We strolled around a bit and left to go back to our hotel.

Day 2--

Universal

We were up early and ready to head out. This was my first time to Universal and DH hadn't been in 15 years!

We parked in the parking garage (for $11!!

) and started the LONG trek to the parks. We got there before park opening and had to wait a few mins before they opened the gates.

We hit this park first:

The Hulk was our first stop--(I'm the only coaster person in our family) so I went on twice! With no wait! If you are a coaster fanatic this is the one for you!!!

Then we hit Spiderman! I had to go on first to test it for DH. Then He was on second time around! Another Awesome ride!

Then we went on to Jurassic Park!

Watch out for that T-Rex!

I went on the Jurassic Park River Ride and he sat out (He saw the drop). I got a whole entire boat to myself! No one on line again!

I did the Dueling dragons coaster and We did Posidon's Fury. We didn't stop at all in Seuss Landing. We did do a screening of a potential sitcom and got paid $10 each for it!

That was a neat experience!

After that we were pretty much done with IOA....so we decided that we'd just go and see what we could do in Universal Studios.

We went back out into CityWalk and had a Yummy lunch and a awesome Margarita (just cause we had to) here:
