Hey all! I just came back last night from my trip with the family and I have some good things and some bad things to tell ya all about. I have some pics but I dont have a cord for the camera so later when I go back to the airport to pick up my 2 boxes SWA lost I will get them developed.

Well here goes!!!!

May 23-30th

On May 23 my clock went off at 3:15 am so I could get a shower and get ready. I always take forever to get ready and the flight outta philly was at 7:10 so I really needed to get moving!!
I get ready and get Madison up with no problem. I try to get my sister up and ready and no luck. She and Ryan like to sleep like a ton of bricks
So finally she got up and my mom came over and we were up and out by 5 am.
We drove my explorer to philly and was looking for the parking lot and got lost. I had no clue where we were going so my mom wanted to drive (like that was gonna get us there faster and she almost backed up in the wrong spot and almost went over one of those tire slashers thingies

Well after all that we finally got on the shuttle bus with 3 of us and 2 kids and 8 million pounds of luggage. We finally got the SWA counter and was already checked in. My sister had to pay $25 due to her luggage being over weight. The lady at the counter was so rude and wanted us to get outta the way for the next person she forgot to give us Ryans boarding pass. Well let me tell you...... we didnt notice that untill we were at the security check point after waiting 40 minutes in line to get to that point. My sister had to run like there was no tomorrow all the way to the ticketing booth and get the pass. Finally after what feels like forever we were able to go to the gate.
SWA was awesome going to FL. We landed 35 minutes early.
My sister hasnt flown in years so she was a little nervous and wanted to get a beer 7:30 in the am I thought she was nuts but then again I joined her. (Thanks again bdavis for the coupon books )

So we landed in orlando and the weather was perfect We didnt have any rain what so ever and the weather was not hot at all!!! The weather the whole trip was never over 85 and the humity was beautiful.

So we got all of out things and headed to get the rental car. I reserved a compact not thinking that we may not be able to cram all the bags into it. we thank god that we were able to pick the car from the lot because we were able to get a PT Cruiser. We folded the seats down and put everything in the back and we were on the way. My mom wanted to stop for things at the store for why I dont know but she bought a cooler and drinks and snacks. I tried to explain to her that we were on the DDp but she didnt want to listen.

We arrive at All Star Sports at 11 am and much to my surprise I loved that hotel. I was sooooo worried after reading reviews that it wasnt so good. Our room was ready when we got there. We were in building 6 surfs up and room 6125.
I liked the surfs up buildings and the little board walks but I loved the theme in the baseball section.
we go to the rooms and drop off everything and then headed to MK
When we got there I first stopped and got my DNephew his disability pass and his birthday button. My daughter was upset because she wanted to have a bday pin and I explained to her that her bday isnt untill 9-16 but the CM let her have one too.
As I was walking down main street I wasnt too excited like I always have been in the past. I think that is mainly due to my DD 8 and DH not being there.
The first ride we hit up was buzz. We didnt have to use the pass and was able to get right on 2 times in a row.I think that we were the only people in that park the whole day Ryan got a magic moment here. As he was leaving this ride the 2nd time a lady was standing there and asked him if he wanted to shoot zerge with the laser gun. He did and she gave him a certificate and all. After that we had to buy both kids a lazer gun. Next ride was indy car thing. My DD never wants to dive so I did. After that we stopped buy Cosmic Rays and had some lunch.
They have the BEST Chicken and Ribs. Madison and I shared that and I forget what everyone else had.
A CM was walking around sweeping and cleaning off tables and see that it was Ryans birthday. She came over to the table and asked him if anyone gave him a bday cake yet. He said no and started his little autistic flap
So then she seen Madison had a pin on too and brought one out as well I explained to the CM that it wasnt her bday and she said at WDW everyday was a celebration.
Next we went to Pooh ride and then worked our way around to snow white and mickey phillar magic then around the line. We did alot of rides that day due to the pass and then we had dinner at CP. None of us really cared too much for this place.
After that we headed back to the room to go swimming. After swimming my sister and I headed down to DTD to do some shopping and that was our first day.

Day 2

I think I have brain freeze cause I cant remember anything Ok here goes.
Breakfast at Ohanas. I LOVE the food there and I love the character experience. We had some off the wall server. I sont know if she was up all night drinking or what but she was nuts She brought us juice every 2 seconds and thats no lie!!! Our cups were never touched and she was puring more into the cups untill I finally stated look lady nothing can fit into it anymore.
After breakfast we headed over to AK. I love this place. On the way in I was looking for the talking palm tree and didnt see it. We headed over to Bugs life and was abel to get right in without using the pass. After the show Amy Ryan and I headed over to dinosaur and used the pass to get on and loved that ride. Then we went into some shops and build a potato head. I am the master of packing parts. I was able to get 42 pieces in the box and that included shoes and hats
After that we stayed in Dino land and rode some rides. Then we headed to EE and let me tell you I was scared out of my mind We were able to ride 2 times in a row and I have a pic I can post

Day 2 cont
I hate resizing pics. I can never do it right.
So after EE we headed over to Kalhi River rapids. Let me tell you ..... Something bad happened on this ride. Right before the last drop they stopped all the rafts. We were stuck on the top for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I have my Dn with me freaking out. we noticed that they let out all the water on the ride and there was no water left. A emergency CM came over to the stuck rafts and told us that someone has fallen outta the raft and that we all need to exit the ride from the emergency exit. At this point Im freaking out We had to raft jump over 5 tubes to get outta that ride then they took us down a pile of steps and on the way down I noticed that behind the rides was a highway and thats where they must of taken out the hurt rider. When we got off the ride no one in the parks ever knew anything happened. If felt like a twilight zone or something
So my mother was freaking out. Did I mention yet she is a DRAMA QUEEN? Well she went to my autistic nephew freaking out you never do that to a child. We told him the ride ran out of water and he was fine with that.
well after we calmed down my crazy mom we headed to the safari but before that we catched the parade
We stayed in the park untill close and then we went back to the room and went swomming and shopping.

Sounds like a great start except for Kali. I hope you mom calmed down. I don't know if this was the same incident in the paper, but it must have been scary.

I can't wait to see more of you pics.

It was in the paper? Must have been...... There was also another kid who was air lifed to the hosp on monday he/she fell off a water ride at blizzard beach.

SO glad you are home safe Kate and I can't wait to read/see the rest...

Just a few thoughts

-Good to know about the chicken and ribs at Cosmic Ray's, I've eaten there before but never tried either. Glad they have something enjoyable besides burgers, fries, and chicken fingers at that counter service.

-Glad you liked AS Sports, I know you were nervous about it but REALLY, are there ANY 'bad" resorts in Disney? NO!! haha.

- Good call on the rental car upgrade, I could only IMAGINE you trying to squeeze all that luggage into a compact. YIKES!

Great TR. She said you were scared out of your mind on EE but it looks like you were enjoying a cool breeze in the pic. That was a crazy Kali experience! Glad it didn't ruin your trip. Can't wait to see more pics.

Any more juice it would have been all over my Mickey waffles and I cant have that We did have the compact car but the PT was in that class. You should have seen us get out. we looked like a pack of circus clowns!!!!

I just noticed the little boy behind you guys, how cute, he's holdin' on to both Daddy & Uncle's (or whomever) arms for dear life!!! All squished between them.

Day 3 cont

After TOT we had to take a break because Amy had to smoke so Madison went to a popcorn cart and wanted to buy some popcorn. Well the CM gave it to her for free due to her bday and it was a PoC bucket
After that we went on the great movie ride and then to Pizza planet. Oh I forgot Amy and Ryan rode Rockin rollercoster but I stayed back due to I hate anything over my head.
After PP we went on the muppet show and then the backlot tour and then to honey I shrunk the kids... After that we went to ariels show and then left. We went back to the room to get ready for dinner at chef mickeys.

Well... I need to get ready for the day and get the kids ready so I will have more of day 3 later and hopefully have pics
