Hi friends!

Well, I'm back and married. And exhausted! This will be the home of my 2 week Disney wedding and vacation trip report, with tons of pictures and details, I promise.

I'll start the report this afternoon, and hopefully will have some pictures up this aft or evening too.

Before I head out for lunch, I''ll start by saying this: Disney's fairy tale weddings department did an UNBELIEVEABLY amazing job on our wedding day. It couldn't have gone smoother, and everything was simply beautiful.

Welcome back and congratulations. So, how do you like married life so far?

Here's a little synopsis on the "cast". There were 53 of us in total but most people will only pop up sparadocally in this report so I'll just top line the basics here:

My side of the group:
*Me - "The Bride", 27
*My parents, early 50's.
*My brother Nick (24, in the wedding party)
*My brother's girlfriend Melissa
*My extended family (3 sets of aunts and uncles, 2 grandmothers, 4 first cousins, 5 second cousins, 2 university friends, 4 of my brother's friends)
*Jill, my best friend in the world, and maid of honour, and her boyfriend Dave
*Karin, great friend and bridesmaid, and her boyfriend Jay
*Christina, great freind and bridesmaid
*My parents 2 friends

My husband's side of the equation:
*Michael - "The Groom", 31
*Donna - Mike's mom, best mother-in-law ever
*Chris, Michael's twin and best man, and his wife Brandi
*Lisa, Mike's sister, and her husband Mark (a groomsman)
*Mike's 2 friends Dave and Paul
*Mike's Aunt and 2 of her kids, in their twenties
*A group of second and third cousins from his dad's side (who died when he was young)
*Mike's mom's 2 friends

It was challenging having so many people down there to celebrate with us. We really had to manage our time to make sure we got to see everyone, so that made things a bit stressul at times. But all in all it was a fantastic trip.

Day 1 (Thurs May 17th): Departure!

Everything turned out really smoothly on our departure day. We left our house for the drive to my parents place around 9:30 am, where we were meeting them, my brother and Melissa, my grandmother, and my aunt. We were all flying together.

Since Mike and I drive a Mini Cooper S, we obviously were not taking our car to the airport (lol) so we took my parents 2 cars, and Mike drove us to Buffalo.

In case you are wondering, often times people who live in the area between Toronto and Niagara will fly out of Buffalo instead of Toronto, because it is soooo much cheaper. It's a long story as to the reason why, but Pearson (Toronto airport) is the most heavily taxed in the world and that sends rates soaring. Buffalo is only an hour and a half drive from us, so when going to WDW we usually fly out of there.

Of course my bag was overweight (how it could it not be, going for 2 weeks and a wedding!) so after sucking up that $65 charge we were on our way.

We flew AirTran and everything was fine. We arrived in Orlando 2.5 hours later around 5:30.

Mike and I were staying at the Beach Club for the first 5 nights of the trip. We chose this because we wanted that time before the wedding mostly to ourselves and because of it's proximity to the Boardwalk where we were marrying. So we took the magical Express to the Beach Club and the rest of my family was off to the Coronado Springs.

We just unpacked, relaxed, and got re-acquanited with Stacey on our first night. We were so tired and fell asleep pretty early.

Highlight of the day: Uncrustables sandwiches! We don't have these in Canada and Mike and i got addicted to them on our last trip. Yum!

Uggg, I hear you on the taxes out of YYZ. Unfortunately we can't drive to Buffalo, so I am stuck waiting on a seat sale from West Jet.
On the bright side I am enjoying your report, can't wait to see more pics.
Uncrustables...hmmm I am thinking no crust. I am so used to uncrusting DS's sandwiches...he's gonna love those. Are they available everywhere?

I saw that special too, all I can say is WOW! Alot of work and a beautiful result!
