That bath store is DANGEROUS!!! LOL, I've already been on their website too. So far I've restrained myself from ordering, but I'm almost out of the bath salts!!! I can't believe how much I like them, I don't usually like bath salts at all!!!

I'm glad you're enjoying my TR, I try to make it a little funny rather than just we went here/there....so thanks for the feed back!

Re: Laurens Wonderfully Relaxing Trip to the World!

So we sloshed our way out of the park, and lo and behold, discover we are STARVING!!!

We really weren't to impressed with our food court at SSR. We throw around a couple of ideas, McD's, Steak n Shake, but considering we are drenched we don't really want to go off property. Ya know where has a good food court? All-Stars, and it's close!!! Off we go!!!

We pull up to the gate and tell security where we are heading and she looks at us like we have 3 heads. She actually said "what's wrong with 192??? Nothing- 'cept we're soaked and there's three hungry people who all will end up wanting something different if we drive down that road!!! LOL!!!

After a yummy lunch we head back to SSR. We relaxed in the room for a while, and then drive on over to the main pool. Devyn had a great time swimming and an even better time playing with two lifeguards who got into the pool with all the kids. They had a dive for horses and just a general great time!!!

We head back to the room after a couple of hours to get ready for dinner at 1900 PF.

Here's Devyn waiting on our balcony for us to leave for dinner:

Dinner tonight was 1900 Park Fare. I choose this dinner to celebrate Devyn's 9th birthday because we have the Grand Floridian Bakery at our disposal if we do that!!!

Originally I had planned on having the cake with the chocolate castle topper, but I got an idea. Uh oh. An idea. I called the GF bakery and asked if there was any way possible for them to do a 1 layer Mad Hatter Cake. Actually, I left a message on the machiene. A couple of days went by before I heard back. I got a message back from them finally that, yes, they could do that along with the price and information. It was a bit more pricey than I wanted, so I held off.

Then one day, Devyn and I were searching the web, looking at all things Disney and I showed her some Mad Hatter Cakes. She was sold. She thought that looked like the greatest cake ever. Well, sucker that I am called up and ordered it.

We arrived and the table had been set so nicely for us!!

Re: Laurens Wonderfully Relaxing Trip to the World!

Now, a couple of things about that cake. 1. It was very sweet as I mentioned before. 2. I had asked for all kinds of dark blues, as well as going as "funky" on the cake that the chef wanted. I told the woman who I ordered from "it's for a 9 year old- I want it super fun, maybe geometrical??" The cake was lovely, but not really what I had envisioned. Was I disappointed??? Well, no. But kind of. Know what I mean???

About dinner. We love PF, the seating however leaves a little to be desired if you happen to be crammed into one of the tables on the wall. I actually have a picture of the lady who sat next to us rear end about 1 inch from Devyn's head!!! She did this throughout the entire meal!!! She kept getting up and changing her kids plates.

She did however, offer to take a nice family photo for us

Then, she stiffed the waitress. Honestly, I've never seen a family exit so quickly before!! It was a family like ours, a Mom, her Mom and two kids. They were talking about $$$, the Mother (grand) gave the other one some cash for tax?? taxi??? (my eavesdropping skills were a little weakend by all the cake ) But they blew out!! Our waitress came over and looked at the table with such a horrified expression. She said "oh, no" I asked her if they had left without paying. She answered that it sure did look that way. I thought the poor girl was going to cry. I know it totally rattled her, and I hope she was able to get herself together for the rest of the night, as it was pretty early. I also hope it was an oversight on the other families part, and they remembered and came back and paid. My mom told me that they had also taken a ton of food and shoved it into their handbags!!!

What a cake! It's absolutely beautiful! How fun!
So was the dinner pre-plated for you? We have August ressies there for dinner and was curious as to what they served for the pre-plated meal. Thanks!

No, it was still buffet style when we went. I'm interested to see what you get in August too.
