I decide to be the super-hero Momma and take the bus over to MK. Devyn's gonna be so psyched.....WDW transportation!!! That rates right up there with Splash Mt. and the Indy 500 in her book!!!

I called them right as I was entering the park. As luck would have it, they were shopping in the Emporium. I went in to where they said they were and couldn't find them. I called them again, and could hear my Mom's cell phone ring, but couldn't see them, it was quite comical!!

We then decide to take a little monorail ride over to Epcot. My Mom and Dad's favorite place to eat in all of the "World" is Yorkshire Fish Shop in Epcot. So, lunch it is!!

It's pretty darn humid out, so we decide to head back over to The Boardwalk with high hopes and a small prayer or two that our room is ready. (ok, my fingers and toes were crossed too )

All aboard the Friendship Boat!!

When we get into the lobby, I try calling the # on the card they gave me. The phone wasn't working. So, I meandered on over to check in. It wasn't busy at all so I decided to ask right at the desk. Lo and Behold we have a room!!! Oh yeah!!! We're so swimming, baby!!

So we go and get the luggage out of the car, and wind down our hall to our room. We were on the first floor. I really liked it!!! Devyn really enjoyed the "coming and going" as she pleased as well. There were shrubs locking her into the patio area. It was ideal.

So, we are hauling the cargo to the room, sweating our (um, fill in the blank here ) off, anxiously anticipating the 1BR for the night. As we approach the room something seems not so right. Hmmm.....what could it be?? That the doors cranked open??? That we hear voices inside??? That the voices seem to belong to two men??? Uh, yeah. That could be it.

Who is it you ask??? Should I leave you hanging like Mary Higgins Clark??? Or a little James Patterson possibly????

Nah, I luv ya all to much to do that.

It's my friends. You know, the ones I made this morning??? Running back and forth to the car??? Oh yea. The painters. HI!!! Remember me??? I guess they really did enjoy watching me this morning. So much so they heard I had a pull out couch available for the night.

Apparently they had just gotten there and there was one wall they needed to paint. We chit chatted for a while. Actually it was more them telling me what they needed to do and me listening and nodding and not really understanding what they were saying to much. I think I was just hot and frazzled, usually I don't have a problem with broken english at all, but there sure was an issue today!!! After they left I asked my Mom if they were really hard to understand or if it was me. She informed me it was me. I really just wanted a room, and didn't want to be displaced until after 4:00. I could hear the Clown at the swimming pool calling my name!!!

After that was taken care of we all changed into our swim suits. It was so hot, that we actually threw the clothes we had been wearing into the laundry to help feel a bit better!

We had another visitor to our room as well. I never knew we were so popular. He's a distant cousin of Donald.



This guy hung out right by our sliding doors the whole time we were in the room. Hi visit was much less stressful!

So, we sit around in the room for a while trying to catch our breath. Meanwhile Devyn's in and out of the two patio doors we have. Playing with the duck, calling us to come look at this. Ahhhh.,......Mommy just NEEDS 5 minutes!!!!

Finally, (in Devyn's mind anyways) we head down to the pool. We get regurgateted through the clowns mouth a couple of times (LOL) Now, I have to do some business talk for you all. Slide comparison. While the slide at the BW is longer, and just looks more fun, the slide at SSR is definitely faster. It wooshes you right down!!! Back to your scheduled TR.

After we all swam for a while, Mom and I sat by the pool and read. Devyn made friends with a sweet little boy named Brett. He was only a couple of years younger than her, but he had some developmental delays (per his Grandma) He was tiny. He kept jumping in, but wasn't able to swim back to the edge. Devyn would help him. She's so motherly. It's so sweet. She played with him for quite a while. To soon though we had to go back to the room to get my Mom to her flight home. Remember she was the one who wanted to leave early?? Well. Not so much anymore!!!

We made it back and forth with no troubles. Once we got back to the Boardwalk we were beat. Devyn actually didn't even want to go in the pool!!!!!

We grabbed two slices of pizza from Spoodles pizza window and call it a night. We both soaked in the jacuzzi tub with our bath bombs, watched So You Think You're Smarter Than a 5th Grader and drifted off to sleep shortly after.

Hey, Daniel and I had a 'Sprinkles' cupcake every morning for breakfast 5 days straight in LA and Disneyland. haha. They took up all the space in our little room fridge but SO worth it!!!

I use to have this reoccuring dream that I was being chased by a clown and I fell into a vat of orange goo. Then I came out incased in a big orange circus peanut!!!

I could never go to that pool. Just for the simple fact that all that money my parents paid for therapy when I was a child would have been pointless!

Friday June 22nd.

We slept in a little today. We had to change from the 1BR to the studio today. What a hassle. When I tried to check out the CM was like "Ma'am, you have your room until 11 a.m. I can't check you out yet." WTH??? Uh, but I want to check out, I want to leave my bags at bell services and I want to head over to MGM" She was totally perplexed with this request. There were two new CM's being trained, and she called the trainer over to her. She did tell me she was not the one being trained here . OOOOOOOOOOkay. She was really nice, I just thought the whole incident was so odd!!! I'm thinking to myself, get the painters in there and then mousekeeping and someone who is checking in today is going to have a very magical start....a ready room!!! Which, ours was not ready. I didn't think it would be, so that's ok.

So, with no definite plans, we set off to experience SWW at MGM. The Stormtroopers on the top of the ticket gates were so cool!! I could have stood there much longer and listened to them, but Devyn was in a hurry to get in.

We caught High School Musical, and basically just wasted time until the Star Wars Parade. Then we saw a whole bunch of people from Star Wars. I'm not sure who any of them are, but here are the pictures:
