So overall, our experience with the GF food wasn't what I had read or was told about!
I think it has to do with the renovation going on at Park Fare . . . so I def want to try it again once the renovations are complete . . . I'm thinking Feb '08 for Becca's birthday #4, but I'm still debating between that and CRT at MK after a hair do at the BBB!?!? (I posted a thread about this and got wonderful feedback and tips from all you buzzers . . . thanks again!)

On to the MK . . . yippee! Oh, did I mention how HOT it was? Anyway . . . we head over via monorail to the MK . . . we get there and where is everyone? It was 11:30am and the gates didn’t have any lines? Were they all inside? NOPE? Guess the heat made most folks stay home and enjoy the pool? OK by us . . . we think?

We hop on the Disney train and head over to Toon Town . . . we stop in the tent to get more character photos . . . we wait about 30 minutes to see Minnie, Donald and Daisy and Snow White . . . not bad. They also had Chip and Dale and Goofy entertaining the crowd while we waited, that was a bonus I hadn’t seen before.

  This one cracks me up . . . with her hand on her hip! Minnie did take the time to point out Bec's MM flip flops . . . Bec thought that was so funny that Minnie noticed they had the same shoes!

So while we visited with the characters, Grandpa ran over to Peter Pan to get us fast passes, MOST times we visit, FP picked up at noon for Peter Pan you get on at 7:30 or later at night . . . these were for 1:30-2:30?? What’s going on? Where is everyone? No line at the face painting, 10 minutes for the teacups . . . OH NOW I KNOW WHY . . . it’s 115 with the heat index . . . told you it was HOT!!
(A CM even said to me, "Guess everyone was smart today and stayed at the pool!")

My girls ALSO love to get there faces painted . . . It's located right by the entrance to TOON TOWN, near Pete's garage . . . there are lots to choose from . . . Annabel goes for the "TINK" and Bec . . . well . . . she's Minnie . . . ALL THE WAY!!

So, off to Peter Pan we go . . . my girls LOVE this ride. I myself feel it could be SO MUCH MORE!! It's a classic, so I don't mean change it, just dust it, clean it . . . repaint it SOMETHING!! When we got off, there was a CM taking a survey, she picked the people before us, so we didn't get our say . . . but maybe this means changes are a coming?
OK, it’s only 1:30 and we are so hot, so tired, we decide to head back to the hotel . . .I mentioned how HOT IT WAS RIGHT??? We hit the food court at our hotel, (POR has a nice selection to choose from at their food court) for a bite to eat and then head to our room for a little A/C and some R&R . . . we’ll head back to the park around 7PM . . . hopefully everyone doesn’t have the same idea?

7pm we leave for the MK . . . once we hit the gates we see that Ariel leaves the grotto at 8pm . . . since we have never been, cuz the line is always SO LONG we hot tail it up there. 5 minutes to spare we make it! We wait about 10 minutes and we’re in . . . Kids LOVED it, but I’m glad I only waited 10 minutes not an hour!
We grab yummy hot cream cheese filled pretzels at Scuttle’s Landing Dee-lish! We head over to Philarmagic to catch the show; always entertaining (10 minute wait, not bad) we enjoy it. My DD3 is so cute . . . she tries to “catch” and kiss all the characters coming at her. Watch out . . . more pics with kids and characters coming!!!!
