Well, it was getting close to 11:00. We’d been there less than 3 hours, and we’d done 6 attractions and met 5 characters. There was only one thing to do before we left for AK: use our FP for Space Mountain! I had not been on this ride in twenty years, and was really looking forward to it. It was five minutes before our FP time expired, so we timed it perfectly. I don’t think we waited very long before we were zooming off into space. I don’t remember where we were sitting exactly, but we were not in the front car.

This turned out to be one of the most fun rides of the entire trip. By the end, tears were streaming down my face because I’d been laughing so hard I could barely breathe. Stacy gets her laugh-scream on whenever she’s on a roller coaster, and it is one of the funniest things you’ve ever heard. We tried to think of a way to describe it, but we just can’t come up with a way that does it justice. It’s kind of like she’s trying to say “Woooo-hooooo!” and laugh at the same time. It comes out like “Wooo-hoo-hoo!” which starts up high and descends, kind of the opposite of what Tigger does. You’d really have to hear it, but even talking about it now brings a smile to my face. I teased her about it a lot, but it really made the trip even more fun to hear her enjoy herself so much. We definitely had plans to repeat Space Mountain on one of our return trips to MK. Just after 11 a.m., and it was time to head out of the park. I wasn’t sad at all, because I knew I’d be back tomorrow night for MNSSHP.

We stopped by Guest Services on our way out to pick up MNSSHP maps for tomorrow night. We also needed to stop there because I’d picked up a birthday button at ASMu before we left that morning, but they didn’t write on it for me, and I didn’t have the right kind of marker with me. Before we left to come to WDW, we decided to make it a birthday trip since our birthdays are October 20 (me) and 23 (Stacy). We’d planned to celebrate my birthday on Thursday, 9/20 and Stacy’s on Sunday, 9/23. I’d added our birthdays to our ADRs and see what happened. The lovely French CM not only filled out my birthday button, but also put a little Mickey on it!

Wonderful trip report!!! I love the IASW pictures. That is one of my favorite rides. I love it, and could ride it over and over.

Silly girl, this is so funny. They only have two cars, and the only seat 3 people each. It doesn't much matter where you sit either, other than the front seat, which doesn't have enough leg room.

I only say that because the second time we rode it, I was in the very first car and could see the turns before they happened. It really made the ride different for me the second time. Where we sat didn't make an impression on me the first time.

Oh, no. I'm not trying to start anything, and I guess everyone's eyes are drawn to different things. I was hoping you hadn't posted yet because I have a really grainy picture from the load area.

I have found I hate the last seat, it tends to make my back and neck hurt a lot more than sitting anywhere else.

Great picutes... how did you get the special effects on the pictures...were they extra?

We pre-paid for the Photopass CD, and once you get home, you can add all the extras. The Capt. Jack ones came like that; we didn't have to do anything to them. I think you can add these effects if you just purchase the photo while you're still at the park. You don't have to prepay for the CD, either, but it is cheaper.

They were taking these on our way into the park and on the way out.
