My Nov. 2007 Itenary - I will update report after I return

Just wanted to post a review of my Itenary to Orlando/Pompano Fl. I will update this report with actual trip details after we return. We will be traveling with myself/my hubby/Daughter 10/Daughter 6/Son turning 13/ son 4.Well we arrive in Orlando on Nov. 15, we relax on thurs. and Fri. mornings. Fri. Nov. 16 we take my family on the decorated Illuminations Cruise for my son's birthday. Saturday, Nov. 17 we head to the Holy Land Experience for the Fall Festival. Sunday Nov. 18 we do MGM and Fatasmic Dinner package. Nov. 19 Monday we head to Pompano. While in Pompano on Nov. 21st my son and husband take the Discovery Day Cruise to the Bahamas (which only cost me $179 for both of them and includes breakfast/lunch/dinner and 5 hours at the Bahamas..the boat has a kids camp/activities/casino/pool and more), we head back to Orlando on Thanksgiving Day for Character Buffet Dinner at the Dolphin. Sunday, we attend the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party and enjoy MK from 4pm-1am. Monday, my 10/6/4 go to the Pirate Adventure, we go to Animal Kingdom for the day, attending reserved lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe, catch the Jingle Jammin Holiday Parade, and relax at the resort until Tuesday afternoon then head to the airport and come home. Whew ...then we do it all again next March for Spring Break...(I can't wait!)

Re: My Nov. 2007 Itenary - I will update report after I return

Thanks! I can't wait. I added the horse drawn carraige ride for $35 for my daughter's and I on Nov. 24th. I have been dreaming of this trip ever since I made the itenary. My husband thinks I am fanatical about it, but he says he is never been disappointed, and the kids keep asking me what is the schedule. Hmm, I think I am going to be dreaming about this trip every night until we get there. Can't wait to report. I got some ideas by looking at other people's plans so I don't leave any fun out.

Re: My Nov. 2007 Itenary - I will update report after I return

ok, I have already made changes to my trip....A MAJOR CHANGE...I convinced my husband to let us do a 3-DAY DISNEY CRUISE!!!!!!! Yeah! I can't wait!!!! We told the kids and they were jumping up and down like a celebration (its my son's 13th birthday). So this is the new itenary...

we arrive in Orlando on Nov. 15 @ Bonnet Creek (2bd Suite), we relax on the resort

Nov. 17 - Nick Hotel / Nick Nite Party for kids

Nov. 18 -21= 3 DaY Disney Wonder Cruise = WHAAHOOOO!!! I got the cheapest 2 cabins available as hubby wanted price under $2800 so I got 2 cabins for $1100 a piece!

Nov. 21 - Port Orleans Riverside (since with last minute there were no reservations at Bonnet Creek)

Nov. 22 - Thanksgiving Day for Character Buffet Dinner at the Dolphin.

Nov. 24 - Disney Quest @ Carriage Ride @ Port Orleans (Check into Bonnet Creek - 4bedroom Suite)

Nov. 25 - Sunday, we attend the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party and enjoy MK from 4pm-1am.

Nov. 26 - Pirate Adventure (my 10/6/4), we go to Animal Kingdom for the day, attending reserved lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe, catch the Jingle Jammin Holiday Parade, and relax at the resort until Tuesday afternoon then head to the airport and come home. Whew ...then we do it all again next March for Spring Break...(I can't wait!)

You are going then! I love going Thanksgiving as you get 2 holiday's in Disney for the price of 1. You get great Thanksgiving Dinners, and Christmas fun. I couldn't ask for more. We go back in March for my girls birthday's (we have to drive that time since I got the cruise we can't afford airfare next March - gotta pay of the CC as I didn't book this cruise in advance). Oh well. The kids are looking forward to the Pirate Adventure, and the Carriage ride was only $35 for 4 of us (hubby and my oldest son doesn't want to ride). Where do you eat when you go for Thanksgiving?

Is this your first time to Liberty Tree? I loved it when we went 2 years ago. It seems hard to book now. I may do it in March. I remember the food was great and so was the atmosphere. That will be a treat!

This is the first time we will be there for Thanksgiving Day so it's kinda new to me. We were there the day AFTER Thanksgiving last year and loved the weather and lower crowds that weekend after so decided to make Thanksgiving week our "real" WDW vacation time this year.

Anyway, on Thanksgiving Day we have a 12:20pm ADR for Thanksgiving lunch at Liberty Tree. Then an 8:00pm ADR at 1900 Park Faire for Thanksgiving dinner. Lots of eating. hehe, I can't wait!

Re: My Nov. 2007 Itenary - I will update report after I return

Great. I like going Thanksgiving because where I live the kids report cards come out the week before Thanksgiving, so I get to take them out of school a week early with no real loss of schooling. It allows me to get cheaper rates on accomadations and cruises. We also try to stay a day or two the week after Thanksgiving because when you go to the parks you can walk on any ride. You will definately get hooked coming this time of year! Hope to see your trip report too!
