Saturday - we got a wake up call and were up and ready in no time, waited for a bus no more than 15 minutes or so & we at MK well before rope drop! we had a great morning - got Ariels autograph (she's the girls' favorite) & got all the fantasyland rides in before lunch at Caseys.

after lunch we did Pirates, alladin, jungle cruise, train ride to Toontown to do goofy's barnstormer. of course we got autographs along the way!! We found Rafiki and Timon (hadn't seen them before), Captain Hook and Mr Smee. I can't remember if there more that day!

we hoped on a boat to wilderness lodge for our ADR at Whispering Canyon. we waited about 20 minutes (after our reservation time) to be seated. OUr server wasn't in a fun mood I guess. She wasn't a good server at all, actually. She took forever bringing drinks, took even longer for more of the things on our skillets, just overall not great!

The girls rode ponies and did the ketchup thing (they had fun)!

Mark & I both got the skillet. It was good. the salad was crisp, good refreshing dressing (apple vinagrette).

I really enjoyed the pulled pork and mashed potatoes the most. The beans are kinda spicy, not too much, but if you aren't prepared for it, it's spicier than I am used to for baked beans. The shrimp were good, better if they hadn't been cold...but tasty. Ribs and turkey or chicken maybe were on there too, I think. It's getting fuzzy! they were good too.

The girls got mac & cheese (emma's favorite food) & a hamburger. Maia didn't like her hamburger, but Mark tasted it and said it was good. It is served plain, by the way, and she asked for fries to go with it.

Evidently I forgot to take pics of theirs and the desserts. We were so full and so tired we asked to take our desserts home with us. The girls got chocolate chip cookies, Mark got the Apple cobbler (no ice cream) and I got the chocolate cake. They were very good desserts later in the room!!

We finished in time for the fireworks, but were all so tired, we just hoped on the bus (after the boat) and went back to the resort. Tomorrow is epcot - our favorite!!

Goodness, that skillet looks good. Never knew you got that much food with a skillet. Going to have to try it. Enjoying your TR and pictures. Keep them coming.

the carmel was fantastic!! I really want another one now. Vanilla was nothing special. Strawberry and chocolate both very, very good. Cotton candy....well....kinda sugary, but pretty good actually!!

We got the milkshakes too. I was surprised they were part of the dining plan, even for the kids! We tried the traditional flavors, but my DH got a refill and he had the orange- tasted like a dreamcicle! Mmmmm.......

ok, so where was I? Sunday - Epcot day!!

We got there around 9:30 - decided not to rush for rope drop. we did the coke club cool thing. Maia really wanted to get her dad to drink Beverly, but didn't remember which one was the yucky one. so, being the loving mommy that i am....i didn't tell her which it was and got her to try it 1st!! it was priceless!!

we walked right on the Nemo ride - it was super cute!! the girls loved it. then we did Crush (DUDE) and then Soarin. Emma barely squeeked by with getting on Soarin - she is an inch or so too short, and with her tall sandals (bought just for the trip) -she just made the cut off. Until the 2nd CM at the end of the cue made her take them off and be measured. The CM surprised us when she said "well, she's not tall enough without the shoes, so just be sure she sits cross-legged and leaves the shoes on!" - hurray!!! We all loved that ride - Emma says it was her favorite!!

we wandered for a bit, then headed to worldshowcase for our adr at Marakesh. It was fantastic!! Excellent server, delicious food and a fun belly dancer! The belly dancer invited us up to dance with her, and only Emma went. She was showing off her newfound dancing skills all week!!
mark and I both had the sampler - it was sooo good!


Maia had spaghetti and meatballs, Emma had chicken fingers. They both got ice cream for dessert


Mark had the pastries and I had the Bastilla - it was good!



After lunch we walked right into Aladdin and Jasmine - with nobody with them in the little room in the back of Morrocco!! we got pics and autographs, then headed our way around the world!!

We all tried on Kimonos in Japan



Mark and I sampled Sake (YUM) and tried to decide which we'd buy to take home later in the week! there are so many choices!!

then we saw the candy lady (agh, what's her name? Miyoshi or something?)



Dream that isn't an official dream #1 - Maia and Emma (well...maia really) got to ask for one - a blue bunny! it was super cute and made their mouths blue, so they loved it!



as we wandered, we ran into some characters...

we kept wandering, and it started pouring!! we made it to the covered area by the character spot and debated what to do. we decided to stand in line for characters (it took about 30 minutes) - saw Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Chip and Dale.

then we made a run for it and did the Land. By then it was close to time for our ADR at Maya Grill, so we made our way to the bus - it has stopped raining by then.

Dinner was very good - service was terrible. He offered no info at all - you know the "what do you want to drink" kinda server. He was not pleasant in any way!

the chimmichurri sauce for the bread was wonderful! I had the carribean chicken roll (excellent) and the mixed grill. DH had the crabmeat chalupa (very good) and the mixed grill. The mixed grill is huge - and delicious!! Maia had mozz sticks and shrimp with raspberry dipping sauce (she didn't like the shrimp, DH said they were tasty though). Emma had mozz sticks and spaghetti. Emma actually fell asleep before the spaghetti got there. she did eat quite a few mozz sticks though!







Mark had deep fried cheesecake for dessert - it was good, a coconut taste to it though. I had chambord chocolate cake. it was phenominal!!
