we hopped on the bus to downtown disney, then transfered to POP and crashed. Day 3 is monday - MGM!!

I have never eaten at the Maya Grill. That chambourd chocolate cake makes me want to change my mind!

I've been eying Maya Grill for a while now. The biggest drawback is that it's at CSR and requires probably driving there. Menu has looked interesting.

I've been so busy at work lately I haven't even checked my own email for 4 days! I was so excited to see you are back and started your TR.

Thank you sooooooo much for the postcard Sarah! My boys keep saying...they must really miss us at Disney cause we keep getting these really nice postcards. (They are never TCFS even though they would like to think that)

So far you have been to 2 places we have never tried, Maya Grill and Marakesh. I enjoy hearing your reviews and of course.....the FOOD PICS!!!

i had hoped to do more today, but it may be later this afternoon/tonight! I am going to look at a piano this afternoon - someone from church randomly asked us right before we left for WDW if we wanted their piano (they wanted to give it to us)! DD has been asking to take lessons for a year, and we keep telling her no because we don;t have a piano. and, then, out of the blue, we are offered one for free! sooo.....we are off to check it out this afternoon, measure so i can make room and make arrangements to get it here! wow! then i get to go to DD's parent teacher conference.

i think i left off in epcot on sunday, so later i'll do monday/MGM day! we had a great day and an official dream as well as a super magical experience that i wasn't a dream, but to the girls it sure was!!

Monday, Day 3 - MGM

we got there after rope drop, decided since it was PM EMH there wasn't a huge reason to hurry. we got FP for ToT, met a wonderful lady on the street - but I can't remember her name!! Victoria I think! she was fun!



We wandered, saw some characters (Kim Possible & Ron, Cars, Power Rangers, Herbie)



Had lunch at Pizza planet - i didn't take pics for some reason! sorry! it was good tho!

Caught part of high school musical 2 show - very cute!!



Went to catch the Lights, Motor, Action , but the next show was for 1:30....so we had a nice chat with the CM, traded pins and she asked us if we'd be interested in being the "dream family" for the 4:30 show!! she said we would introduce the show, on the big screen, saying "lights, motors, action"! We were super excited! she gave us a certificate saying we were the dream family, and told us to return at 4 pm.

I'll skip to that part - here is us in our VIP seats (front rowas you look at the crowd, we'd be on the left of the middle "roadway")!



It was fun!! It was sooo hot and loud being that close though!! But, the girls did great and weren't nearly as freaked out as we thought they'd be!

Somewhere in all that time, we did the backlot tour, wandered & shopped, saw muppets (so cute) and saw the parade!!

THis is Maia - i can't remember which character it was, but one of them (a few actually) came over and gave her five. this is the excitement that makes all stress dissolve! this is why i love disney!!

Those are also fairly decent seats, both to sit in for 35 minutes and for viewing position.
This might be the one pin (the LMA Dream pin) I'd consider trading for. Or did only the volunteer "remote control car driver" get one.

so.....we had an official dream!

we wandered a bit, went to abc commisary for dinner (no pics, but i had the tabulleh wrap & black bean salad - it was kinda bland, but ok. DH had fish - it was good, and dd's had fish and chicken).

we did the narnia thing, ToT, playhouse disney (during a torrential downpour), fastpassed little mermaid, but never made it back for it, and the one man's dream, we also did the Indiana Jones show - cute, but i wasn't feeling well, so I didn't like it as much as i think i would have normally. Everyone else loved it!

when the park closed, we got our wristbands and wandered until we found the band! have you seen them -mulch, sweat and shears? they are sooo much fun!! we had front row spots and had a great time with them! we want tshirts that are for them, but didnt' find any!

next we wandered back for little mermaid, but a cm told us to head to playhouse disney for a special party!





Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and the Little Einsteins all were in there for a dance party with a DJ (not sure who he was, but seemed familiar)! Kids had a great time and we just let them have fun for quite awhile, until time to make it to fantasmic at 9:30.

after fantasmic - I love that show - we walked with the rest of the cattle, i mean people, down the long walk back into the park. we debated going back to do ToT again, but the sea of people going the other direction seemed like too much to deal with going against. so we made it to the bus, waited just 10 minutes or so and were back at pop!

and so ends day 3 - we had an official dream and had a dance party with the main mouse and his pals! that was just as great if not a better dream to the girls!!
