Day 3 - Tue May 6

Day 3 started with an early rise to go to our PS for the Princess Breakfast in Norway with my mom and dad. We had a 9:50 PS but had to wait until 11:00 because someone snuck in under our name. However, this was a wonderful character meal. The food was very good and plentiful and my 2 DDs got to see and get autogtaphs from Mulan, Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine and Belle. We took lots of pictures and video, and my mom brought her Polarid camera which was nice because some of the characters came back to see how they came out and also signed the photos.
Right after breakfast we had no wait for the Norway ride, Maelstrom. Next was the Rio de Tiempo in Mexico, also with no wait. The kids liked the dolls best of all. We then skipped the rest of WS to go to the Land (10 min wait), the Living Seas, and then Spaceship Earth with no wait. My parents arrived very early to EPCOT and were the first people on Spaceship Earth for the day and received a certificate for it! It was probably at the high heat of the day when we decided to go back to the Poly. But not without stopping at Leave a Legacy for my 2 DDs. We didn't have a chance to go back to EPCOT later in the week to see the image on the plaque, but the CMs told me we would be able to see the image on the internet when processed. I hope they email me soon.

Since the MK had Spectro at 8:30 and FIS at 9:15, we headed out around 6:50. There was a long delay in a monorail reaching the Poly because the crowds were overflowing them. We had to let 2 monorails pass before we could board. Can't blame anyone for going to MK, since that night might have been the only one to see SM and FIS. We could have waited until the upcoming Sat to see it but I felt it was better to see it when we could. The park was very full. Reminded me of peak summertime crowds. Disney should really take notice to the willingness of guests to flock to the MK to see these events. They should really think about adding more shows during the week to better accomodate the guests and the transportation systems. Overall, it was a very packed day. Sounds like the Norway Priness Breaky is a success! How annoying that someone got in under your name!:( What is the matter with people! At least it worked out for you!:)

I don't like the idea of the crowds...but, gotta do what we gotta do. :)

I find it very disturbing that someone took your PS:madmad how unDisney can you get!!!! Did you enjoy the meal there? I've heard mixed reviews. We have a PS for our trip in July. My DD will love all the princesses!!!

How rude of those people! Do you have a common name? I would NOT have been happy and 11:00 was the best they could do to accomodate you?? Oh yeah I would have been ticked! But at least it all worked out for you, before long they are going to start asking for conf #s to get in!

its awful that someone got your PS :( but I thought the polarid pictures might just be something to make note of for our next trip.. we have one tucked in the closet and getting the pictures signed would be fun !!

I am so sorry someone took your PS by using your name. My DH has a VERY common name so last time we went to WDW we had to give a conformation number for every PS we had. I used my name this time, but with a common last name I am still prepared to give the conformation number.

It sounds like you had a good time even with an hour wait.

We don't have a common last name but perhaps it was mispronounced, resulting in someone else thinking their name was called. We checked with the CM a few times to see if we were called. On the last time we checked, we were told that we would be in the next group called. That time passed which prompted us to check in again, only to find out that our card PS was already taken. Its wierd since I was anxious and keeping a close ear on the names being called. Even before we found out about this, the wait was still very long. No worries though, the character breakfast made up for it nicely.
