Thanks everyone! It's so fun to share about our wonderful trip.

We left the room for MNSSHP at about 5:30 and we were walking through the gates at right about 6:00. The decorations were great - we were so excited. First we headed over to POTC. I was dying to see the changes they made. We literally walked right onto the ride - it was great. Baby Gabe did not like POTC however, he got a little scared during the scene with the cannons. We then decided that we would stick with the children's rides from then on, so that meant no Haunted Mansion - oh well. After POTC Gabe was getting hungry so we went searching for food. We ended up at Pinochio's Village Haus. Sadly we were not impressed, but at least Gabe had a full tummy. Now it was time for the Fantasyland rides! First up was Dumbo.

After Dumbo we were able to gon on Peter Pan, It's a Small World and Pooh all with very short waits. It was great. The party is worth it if only for the lack of lines!

Gabe's favorite appeared to be IASW - he was fascinated:

After finishing Fantasyland we checked out Minnie's House and then ended up on the Alice in Wonderland Trick or Treat trail. It was cute I only wish they had better candy - we ended up with a bunch of Bits O' Honey and Neco Wafers - yuck!

The trail ended in Tomorrowland so we decided to go stake out a spot for the parade. We ended up getting a great spot right by the Hub. We got to see the Headless Horseman - he was so cool! We LOVED the parade!!!! It was such a GREAT parade - I loved the "Boo to You" song and all the performers had so much energy! It is way better than Spectromagic in my opinion. By this point Gabe was so exhausted though. He was so tired he wasn't even smiling (and he smiles all the time) - he was still staring at the parade though.

Baby was so tired so we decided to head out after the Villians float and made our way up Main Street....only to find that there was no way out until the parade was over. The cast members were so nice though and they gave us a front row spot right by the Exit. It actually worked out great because we got to see the whole parade twice and even though Gabe was exhausted he was still dancing in his stroller.

After the parade we headed back to the hotel to crash! Thankfully Gabe went right to sleep. We set up his porta-crib in the outside bathroom/closet area and it worked out perfectly because we could just close the curtain and he could sleep.

Day one was great! I loved MNSSHP and we definitely are planning on making it an annual tradition!
