Hi all! Ok....when we last left off we were letting our little squirts play in the water and went to meet up with our friends in Toon Town.

It was so crowded EVERYWHERE on this day and the girls were not loving lines after lunch so we gave them some time to unwind in the playground area.

The dad's decided to take the older girls (Avery and Saffy) over to ride Goofy's Barnstormer while we let the little ones play in the play area for a while. I didn't take any pictures except for this one of the guys waiting in line for Barnstormer



When the girls got off they decided they wanted to ride again....just with MOMS this time, so we switched up and went with the girls. While we were on the ride the sky opened up and it began to POUR (it was a bit of relief from the heat). The big girls loved running in the rain....the little ones, not so much.

We decided to hop on the train

On to Frontierland to see if we could get Avery onto Splash Mountain (we feared the worst as she didn't measure up in Dinoland the day before). MUCH to her dismay Avery couldn't do Splash Mountain....so we all decided to skip it. She recovered pretty quickly....I was VERY proud of her (because it had been a long day and this typically would be the "thing" to push her over the edge).

It was getting late so we wandered a bit before the Spectromagic parade (THIS I couldn't wait for....it is probably my FAVORITE thing).

THEN....I saw it. The sign for DOLE WHIPS!!!!! I almost FORGOT about these.....I couldn't wait to try one. It definitely lived up to my expectations.....very refreshing and not too sweet. My DH got chocolate...I didn't bother tasting his. Here is a VERY strange picture of me and my Dole Whip.

We enjoyed our frozen treats and slowly made our way over to find a spot for the parade.

We made the WRONG choice for a spot (we thought we had found a perfect spot, but the parade wouldn't be passing in front of us). By the time we realized our error it was just too packed. Avery had the best spot in the house....DADDY's shoulders and we just watched what we could through everyones shoulders.

Everyone enjoyed it very much.

I needed to download my pictures to a disk for more room, so we went to the Kodak shop in the front of MK and watched Wishes while we waited for our disks (it took 35 minutes for the pictures to download).

Off to our rooms for some good sleep.

Well, it was really my fault....we were really not paying attention. That's ok....I got to see the parade (it is so bright it would be hard to miss).

I must say....both he and AVERY LOVED the chocolate.

Also, one of my co-workers says that she always mixes the vanilla and pineapple? Hmmmmm....that might be delish.

Thanks for reading. By the way, you are SOOOO right. She still hasn't stopped about "the fog". "Mommy, does this grocery store have fog?", "Mommy, will this movie have fog"......poor baby. She would have REALLY never gotten over the other things.

DAY 3- December 3, Disney Studios (it will always be MGM to me)

We started our day in the POFQ food court....then off to the bus stop to head over to MGM...oops I mean Disney Studios



We watched the High School Musical show....AWESOME (I'm not ashamed to admit that I know all of the lyrics by heart and my children don't even know HSM yet)

Our reservation for Hollywood and Vine was at 10:20AM...we checked in and got a pager. We had about 40 minutes to kill so we thought we would run the kids over to the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area. On our way Avery spotted a face painting station. $15 for a face painting Are you kidding me?!?! Well, it was TOTALLY worth it.

Avery felt like a movie star....she chose Tinkerbell mixed with Snowflake (the lady doing it was excited about this challenge)







At the end they throw pixie dust (aka glitter) on and boy was that the best. The girls were so excited. Everytime I hugged Avery she would say, "be careful...I don't want to lose my pixie dust".

A note on the face painting...it doesn't get hard and flake off. Once it is dry it feels like foundation. Definitely worth it.
