We did it twice with no lines. It was WILD how low the crowd level was on this day. This would be our first time in a park when it wasn't SUPER crowded. It was a nice way to spend our last day.

Thanks! I know....the holidays took me out of it for a while. I am catching up on everyones TR's right now. Thanks for hanging in there....I'll finish up shortly.

By the way, (yes, I am threadjacking my own TR)....your TR really helped me gear up for our trip with our little ones. Thanks for that!

After the Tea Cups we wandered around a bit looking for some fruit (I knew I had seen some bananas earlier in the day). We found a fruit cart and a very unfortunate little guy working the stand. His line was so long and he just couldn't keep up.

Anyhoo....we decided to go into Haunted Mansion....there was a 5 minute wait so we just couldn't pass it up. I was a bit worried about taking Avery on the ride....I just didn't want to freak her out again like TOUGH TO BE A BUG did. We decided to give it a try and just really talk her through it. I wasn't worried about Lillian because she doesn't really "get" any of that spooky stuff yet. Lillian, DMiL and I were in one buggy and DH & Avery were in the other. Lillian fell asleep as soon as it went dark. I could hear John talking Avery through it and she was really having a great time. We were stopped for about 10 minutes where the breathing doors are....could have been bad. Avery enjoyed the stop and Lillian got an extra 10 minutes on her nap. I loved the changes. HM is definitely one of my favorties from childhood and I was happy that they did a little upkeep.

Next up Pirates. We were excited about how empy the park was this day. Even Dumbo only had a 10 minute wait. It was such a departure from the rest of our trip.

No wait for Pirates so we jumped on sooner than we expected. We had just grabbed some ice cream and DH got a Turkey Leg. Avery spotted DH's turkey leg while we were in line, threw away her ice cream and grabbed it right out of his hands. It was really funny seeing her waiting for POTC eating this GIANT turkey leg. She LOVED it too.

We stayed in line to meet these fellas (who ended up being the last characters that we met)

We went over to Main Street to get a good spot for the parade. We were right across from the Edy's Ice Cream Parlor so Avery and I went to go grab some snacks (you know, cotton candy, ice cream, etc....the major food groups at WDW).

We got there kind of early for the show so it was awesome to have these guys entertian Avery. She had so much fun with the Hula Hoops and Wooden Horse. We even did a little Hokey Pokey with a group of kids, parents and CM's. That was a bunch of fun and made the wait seem like nothing. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of the parade because I was too busy watching it with my girls

After the parade we headed over to do a little Buzz, The Laugh Floor (again) and some more cruising around....just taking it all in and having a wonderful day. We did ride the carousel one last time.



I just can't stress how wonderful and relaxing our last day was.

We watched Wishes and said goodbye to the castle I am almost getting choked up now just remember how lovely it all was.

All in all this trip was EVERYTHING that I wanted it to be and more. It was just nice not having to worry about getting on every ride and just spending time with my family. I can't wait to start planning our next trip (which will be either a cruise in 2009 or a trip to WDW in 2009).

All of the advice that I received on Mousebuzz was priceless and really made this trip for me.

A few notes before I am all done:

• the letters for the girls from Cinderella, Mickey and Friends were priceless (and are still in Avery's room)
• the $10 Mickey balloons (the ones that have the Mickey inside the Clear balloon) are worth every penny so BUY one if the kids want one. Ours is still floating and we bought it more than one month ago.
• Character meals are a MUST for families with small children
• My Alice Crocs ROCKED! I loved them and was very happy that I made that purchase. Wishy, I didn't wear the socklets...I just couldn't
• Going with the mindset that we wouldn't be able to do everything and to just relax and take it all in was the best thing that we did for ourselves
• Beer is good (especially when you have hit your limit and your DH hands you a deliciously cold beer and takes your kids for a walk )

Aww thank you, that is so sweet. I am still enjoying your TR. Your pictures are so beautiful and so are your girls. You made such wonderful memories this trip. I am sad to see it drawing to a close.
