I was up late baking gingerbread cookies last night (we are having a cookie decoration party at our house toinight for the kids and a few of their/our friends).... I know, I know I can hear you all now, "excuses, excuses"

I will start day 3 soon.....it is actually one of my favorite days (along with my six other favorite days). Thanks for hanging in!

The cookie decorating party is over (it was a smashing success....lot's of preschoolers left my home with more icing in their bellies and on their clothes than on the cookies ).

Now my girls are asleep, I have a glass of wine and am ready to go.

On to DAY 3, December 3- Magic Kingdom Day

The day started bright and early (usually the little ones would wake up around 5:45 or 6:00 AM- UGH! ) and Daddy decided to take the girls for a little walk in the courtyard while I packed our day bag.

We took the bus over to Magic Kingdom and the girls were STOKED because they had a little taste of it the night before. Before we even hit Main Street we met up with a few characters. First up....

Next up.......the character that Avery was just DYING to meet....THE ONE, THE ONLY......

CHICKEN LITTLE





He had to go on a potty break just before we saw him, but we decided to wait around for him to return. It was great because he spent a lot of time with Avery. She sang, "I am the champion" to him just like he does in the movie. He did a little dance with her....it was very sweet

After having our fun with Pinocchio and Chicken Little we see what we came to see....

The Castle

First we stop and watch the show on the castle stage (not sure why I can't remember the name....we saw this 3 times...it was Avery's favorite show).

Then we buy two 10 dollar balloons...GULP!!!! on a side note...these balloons are still with us and look exactly like they did when we first purchased them....I should do a photo diary of them just to see how long it takes them to deflate....on Monday it will be TWO WEEKS

Then off to fantasyland....first stop the carousel (we rode them at least 10 times this day)

Let me just say....it was EXTREMELY BUSY this day. Most of the rides had a pretty long wait. I doubt it was as busy as it gets during peak season, but I didn't expect there to me nearly that many people.

We rode a few things and then off to get the girls in princess gear for lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table.





The wait to get in was tough because the girls were all really not wanting to be standing in a line nicely. We were moved from one waiting area to another and that didn't bode well with the tiny ones. Here is an example...
