That is all the ASMu pics I took.

This is where the story of the Flushers begins. As I am unpacking I hear a toilet flush. If you have ever stayed at a value, you know how loud they are. They flush with much pressure and you can hear it in the walls. The first flush was followed shortly by another, and then another.

Well the reason we called them The Flushers is because of how often they flushed. I don't know how many people were in there room, but I swear if one person went, 3 more followed.

At all hours of the day and night these people were a-flushing.

I'll be back in a bit with day one, EPCOT. I got to ride SSE and it was great!
I am still catching up on laundry.

After getting settled and looking around a bit we went to EPCOT.
We had a little trouble with DS's ticket. It kept saying it was invalid. I felt bad because we were holding up the line, but I keep all the tickets in one place and the other 3 were fine, so I couldn't understand what the problem was.

They issued him a new ticket and we were on our way.
As soon as we entered I could tell SSE was open YAY!
I love the changes. I don't want to give away too much, but there were several new scenes, lots of new AA's, and a cool new interactive screen on the ride.

Definitely check it out.

I wanted to stop in Guest Services and see it I might meet Marie the cat this trip. She would not be appearing anymore that day (of course).

We decided to get some FPs for Test track and, since we were hungry, get some food.

I was in the mood for Mexican, so we took the short walk to Mexico and settled on San Angel Cantina. The food was hot, fast, and pretty good.

I had the wet burrito

DH had the Plato Combinacion

and the kids shared the tacos al carbon

With full bellies we went back for our FP time to TT. On the way we stopped for an FP to Soarin'.

Riding TT was as exhilarating as always. The kids just love this ride. We had some time to kill before our time to ride Soarin' so went to visit a little orange fish. The kids really enjoy this ride for some reason, it doesn't do that much for me. We looked around the seas for a bit and decided to watch TT with Crush. It is a little different every time. This time we got a couple of good chuckles. Kids asked the darndest things.

No Bruce pic this time. The line was too long to bother with.

Time to head to The Land for Soarin' one of my new favorites. It still thrills me each time they lift us up.

After flying over California we found a new ice cream place by Club Cool, so we went in for dessert. I had a hot fudge sundae, DH had one of his favorite cookie sandwiches. They are not the prepackaged Nestle one, the are really big like the ones they make at the bakery on Main Street.

Kids had a milkshake and rootbeer float. We will definitely stop here again. I don't remember every seeing this place before.

It was almost time for Illuminations and the kid said they wanted to skip it and go back to the hotel for a swim instead. OK, fine by me.

My friend and I stayed in Broadway in September; even though we weren't there much, seeing it still brings back good memories!

Thanks. The kids didn't seem that photogenic this trip. They will pose for me whenever I ask, but I like the genuine reactions better.

Now, if you have ever stayed at a value, you know that the 3 All Stars share buses. This is a pain in the neck.

I thought by leaving before Illuminations we would catch a bus no problem. I guess a lot of other people had the same idea.

What really stunk was that our bus stop had many, many people waiting and others only had a handful and those buses were coming first.

We waited like 20 mins. before any bus came and we were like 3 or 4 buses from being picked up. Once the first bus left he promised to radio for more buses and a 2nd bus cam like 5 mins. later followed almost immediately by another bus. The were parked side-by side and we did get on the third bus.

This was also a problem when we stayed at AS Sports in Sept. as well.

By the time we finally arrived back at the resort DH was quite frustrated. He spoke with a front desk CM who was gracious and apologetic, but really couldn't do anything for us. He did inform her that this would definitely affect our future consideration for this resort.

It was now after 10:00 and the kids were too tired to swim. I had an early morning planned as I wanted to be at a park for opening. So off to bed we went frustrated, tired, and disappointed.

We had just gotten into bed when The Flushers began their routine. This went on for about 20 mins. We couldn't fall asleep until the finally settled down.

I fell asleep thinking tomorrow is another day and a little frustration would not keep me from enjoying my mini trip.

Day 2 of our mini-trip started with a phone call on DH's cell at 7:00 a.m. (it was OK because that is what time I wanted to get up anyway) and an appearance by none other than, the Flushers.

We all got up and got ready, had some breakfast in the room, a plus of the suite, and got an early start.

We had decided to do 1/2 a day at AK to ride EE and see the Finding Nemo show as it is now a must see for me, I just love this show. Also in all the times we have visited I have never made it to a park for opening and I really wanted to this time. Well there is a first for everything.

As we approached the bus stop to AK the bus was sitting there waiting, so we got right on and were on the bus by 8:30.

I was pretty excited to see my first opening ceremony. At around 8:45 they let us into the Oasis and a rope line stopped us in front of the Tree of Life. Shortly there after a jungle jeep came out in front of the tree with Minnie, Goofy and Pluto. They proceeded to put on a show about what was needed for a day in the jungle. Minnie had a list and Goofy demonstrated each item. It was really cute.

Finally Mickey popped up closer to the tree and a countdown began, then we were let into the park.
