On Monday 3/3 we were dropped off at the FW parking lot near the Outpost by DH. We are very familiar with this resort and we know we have no problems with parking for the truck here.

So we waited at the Outpost for an Epcot bus. The kids had decided that this is where they wanted to spend the first half of the day. A bus arrived shortly and we were at Epcot in no time.

We entered quickly despite long lines at the entrance. Tip, when arriving at any park, go all the way to the left hand line. Most people are right handed and tend to go to the right or to the line directly in front of them. The left line is very often shorter. This was the case today, only 3 people in front of us and we were in quickly.

We checked out the line for SSE it was long as is often the case early in the day, so we decided to ride it on the way out. We stopped at Guest Services. I wanted to inquire about greeting Marie the Cat, no luck, she was not making appearances this day . Next order of business, get a birthday button for DD. Her birthday isn't actually until 3/18 but it's in the same month, so why not? It made her feel special and people wished her a Happy Birthday all day long.

OK, we wrapped up our business at GS and went over to TT for FP's. With them secured the kids wanted to go back to SSE and check out the new interactive stuff at the end of the ride. There is some cool stuff in here. we spent about 45 mins. until our FP time.

First they played a game called Power City which was projected on the floor. It was kind of like shuffleboard. You had to push virtual pucks around to secure power for a city. They enjoyed it a lot.

Next they played a game called Body Builder. It is a 3-D game where a skull talks to you and you place his body parts (organs and bones) in the correct place to make him whole. This was very educational as it went along with a unit study on the body that we just completed. it was fun too!

Finally, they played a driving game where you had to race a bad guy through a city to stop him from destroying the city. Forgot the name of it, but DS especially enjoyed it because he enjoys video games.

It was time for our FP's so TT, here we come. While waiting in the FP line, I spotted a hidden Mickey, can you spot it?

Our car tested well passing all tests. We ran over to Soarin' to grab a FP for that next. The kids were getting hungry so we decided to grab a snack.

Back over by TT there is a cart that sells turkey legs and soft pretzels. That was our snack. We all shared the turkey leg and a big pretzel. We sat inside the Electric Umbrella to eat and enjoy the A/C, it was pretty warm today.
