Hi all. I decided to writ up a little TR. I didnt get to take many pics as I wasnt there long!!!!!!!! I will explain that as I go. So here is what happened~

The cast~

Kate (me) 28 on 3-14 My early Bday trip
Pam (pregnant) 27 ** I will never ever take her to WDW again!**


We decided to go on this trip 2 weeks before we actually left. It all started by sitting at my desk and looking at my prev WDW pics from last year. My nephew went in 07 for his Bday and I said that I would love to go to MK for my Bday. So we did.

2-28~ I work up around 3:30 am with the I cant wait to get to WDW syndrome and I had to work all day long. Not to mention I had a swollen sore throat and couldnt swallow. So we worked all day long and then I had to appear at my DD's Basketball game. The deal was that we would be ready packed and heading on the road by 7pm. Well I left my DD's game with only 15 minutes to go and reached Pams house at 6:50. Needless to say she WASNT THERE!!! I called her on my cell and asked what in the world was she doing. She said that she was at the bank getting some last minute money. I asked her what ever happened to ON THE RD BY 7!! She told me it only takes 12 hours to get to WDW from NJ and for me to relax. Well.... I dont know if she was reading Map Quest wrong or not but it said 16.5 hours.
So we finally hit the road at 8 pm after she had to eat 2 pork chops green beans potatoes and some milk. I was thinking she couldnt eat dinner when she got home at 4:30
So we are driving for ONLY 30 minutes and she wanted to stop at dunkin Donuts for a bagel I told her no way.. no stopping untill we BOTH need to use the bathroom. Let me tell you all so everyone unterstands.... She is only 3.5 month along.. My sister is preg with twins and due in 4 months and doesnt eat this much So BEFORE we even left for this trip she knew Im not a good long distance driver. Heck.. I hate driving to the mall thats 5 minutes down the rd. She told me no prob and she would drive most of the trip as she has done it many many many times.
Well half way thru MD she is snoring. So I decided that I would drive us the rest of the way to WDW on no sleep and being sick as death. The orig plan was to drive straight thru. We looked for air fare and nothing was cheap enough. I have a 2007 chevy HHR that got almost 475 miles to a full tank. We only had to fill up 2 times down and 2.5 on the way home.

So Im driving and Im about to fall asleep at the wheel. I did however drive 6.5 hours and got us to SC. So I woke Pam up and told her that unless she took over we were sleeping at the DAys Inn untill 8 am. So we did..

Well We get into the Days Inn which I do have to say is really not to bad for $45 night and we hit the sheets. Its now 4:30 am and she wanted to watch TV Are u serious!!!!! If you can do that why are we not on the RD!!!!!!! So I told her to shut it off and that we needed to be up and ready by 8. I wanted to start my car at 8am!!! So she said that the cell phone would wake us up at 7. Well it never did. Thank god there were some birdies outside singing. (I really dont think she cared if we got to MK or not)
So we were ready and hit the rd and she took over driving. I still dont know where she thinks 12 hours becuase at this point we were only 6.5 in and at the start of SC.
So Im still sick and cant swallow. I decided to drink hot tea which I thought would make me feel better. Well.. it didnt. 30 minutes into drinking it I had to cough and spilled it ALL OVER ME! After not wanting to pull over to clean it up I just did a quick change. I need to get to Disney at this point!
So we finally arrive at FL and it is packed due to bike week at Daytona Beach. There was sooooo many accidents all along Rt 4. we did have a dinner ressie at 1900 park fare at 5:10. We finally arrived at the Best western Lakeside at 4:40 checked in and went to the room to get ready for dinner. let me tell you.. I didnt take pics of the hotel becuase I was rushing to get to WDW but I was able to get the entertainment club rate of $35 night and the hotel was BEAUTIFUL!! 3 awesome heated pools and all. the rooms were really big and the bathroom was all done in granite. Not too shabby for $35 night.
So we did get ready and rush to GF for dinner. We were only 5 minutes late and checked in. They overheard Pam saying something about me and my bday and asked if it was. I explained to them that we were here to celebrate it but it wasnt the actual date. They still gave me a bday button with my name and I wore it proudly. I think this is where Pam started to get mad upset of just plain jellous. She LACKS Disney spirit! Everyone was saying Happy Bday from guest CM's and characters. Pam would just do a little eye roll. When the waiter came over with cinderella and a bday crown and sang happy bday she got up and went to the bathroom. Now... Dont you think that you would stick around for your friends bday song in WDW??? She knows how much this trip ment to me and how much I am in love with Disney!! Everyone who knows her at work said that she would be like that and I didnt listen.. I just needed a driving partner to get get me there 5 friends at work did pitch in and all buy me my 1 day Mk ticket so that was really nice but everything else we went 1/2 on.

So the characters at dinner were Cinderella, Prince,The step sisters and mother.
They were all really great except Lady tremain. For some reason I was scared to death of her. However I did get my pic with them all. The sisters asked me if it was my bday. I told them not the real date but yes. They both called my a liar I hope that was their character.

After dinner we went to the outlets down the road. I was able to get my DD9 a HSM tee shirt that I seen selling in GF for $25.00 at the outlet it was $6.99 I also picked her up some little things and I bought a snowglobe of the castle for $22. I later seen it at DTD for $45 so I think the outlets were hit and miss.
After that we went to DTD and did some shopping. After that it was about 12ish and we needed to head back to the hotel to get sleep. First we decided to take a dip in the pool and then head back in to get ready for the morn of MK!! I was soooo excited at this point I couldnt sleep again!

Oh no what a friend hey if she didnt want to go then why plan a trip ....

So its now 3-1 and we wake up early for breakfast at beach club at 7:50. We get there on time and i can barely talk due to my throat. I wasnt going to let that stop me from having a blast!!

So what rally got to me was we were about to leave and our server said oh no... wait... Minnie is in the back baking a birthday cake. Pam rolled her eyes again and said Kate.. Do you really think minnie is baking a cake? She isnt even real!!! I took my napkin off my lap toss it on the table and told her one more outburst she was walking homw to NJ and I wasnt kidding!!! Right there I knew I would never plan another trip with her ever again!!!!!!!!

So we left and went to MK.
We walked thru the turn gate at 9:05. Well we just ate breakfast mind you.
She wanted to stop and get popcorn. I have no problem eating at WDW but come on. We did drive FOREVER to eat every 5 minutes!
So Im going to do the rides in order we rode them.
Buzz --- no wait got right on
People mover--- never a wait got right on
Laugh club--- no wait

stitch--- 5 minute wait
the raceway car thing--- 5 minute wait got right on

by this time I swear is not even past 10:30 ish and she wanted to eat lunch at cosmic rays!!!!!! Im tellin ya. So we went in. Im still sick and dont want to eat or Im afraid I will have to be rushed to the hosp for a throat transplant. Well Pam gets the Chicken and Rib combo and eats all of it!!!! then she has to talk to her bfriend on the phone for another 30 minutes. so at this time its not 11:30 so we go to the rides..

Here is the next rides we went on..

Pooh-- 10 minute wait.
Mickeys Philhar magic-- got right on
haunted mansion-- 10 minutes.

after that she asked me where to get a dole whip. She gets 1 eats in in a blink of an eye and gets another!!!! I took a sip and was about to pass out. My throat was on fire!!! I couldnt do.. So she knew all I waned to do on this trip was to meet Jack Sparrow! well well well... why is it now 1:15 and she asked if I was ready to go HOME!!!!! I wanted to scream!!! I told her no I wasnt ready to go home! We didnt drive 18 hours for 4 hours at MK and for her to eat her way through WDW!! Well guess what!! She came up with some excuse and went into the bathroom acting like she was sick so I was so tired of being there with her I finally called my DH told him everything and he said that he would pay for 1/2 of another trip so Im going back in May with my youngest DD!!!! My oldest still wants No parts of it and I will never ever take anyone who isnt Disney CRAZY as I am!!

So thats about all! We did drive straight home and all the way home I wanted to tell her how I really thoguht of her to ruin my Bday trip to Mk but I just let it slide.

Here are some more pics of dinner. I wanted to take some pics inside MK but to be honest I wasnt feeling well but I still would have stayed!! This is why I took so long to write this. It took me a week to get over it.

all reality MK wasnt packed at all! hardly no waits for anything! We didnt see a dream team member the WHOLE time there but then again it was only 4 hours
Not to mention I put 2500 miles on my brand new car!! I was also upset about that for the past week!

I think that she wanted to go at first but then when she seen how many people we making a big deal over the bday it went downhill. thats when she started to act wierd! NEVER AGAIN!

5-21- 5-26 My DH and oldest DD are staying home to go on a 3 day fishing trip! I cant wait!! Just me and my Disney crazy daughter!! No one to ruin our time!!

I wondered the same thing also. I think she thought it really would only take 12 hours to drive. I know we were both tired but I put that aside as well as my sickness and had a blast. I personally think she was having trouble trusting her boyfriend because she really didnt want to go home untill after she talked to him on the phone. To me thats insane. When I go out as far as WDW for a weekend trip Im not letting anything get in my way of having a blast. Thats why Im taking my Disney buddy Madison in May. She is my DD so I know we will have no troubles She is the only one in the house besides me who is in love with Disney. I booked my DD9 and even pd for airfare and 3 days later she doesnt want to go so I canceled her tickets and air. I figure she wanted to stay home and go fishing well so be it.

Wait..so it took you almost two days to drive down there..you went to dinner at GF..went to MK until 1 in the afternoon and then went home?!? Seriously!! I think she made herself sick eating so much!!
I am sorry it was such a cruddy trip!! That is why I am sooo skiddish about taking people to WDW that aren't..well..Dave. Hopefully your trip with your DD will be wonderful and magical and all that good stuff!
